"Came to this place as the Google reviews was great, but don't be fooled, the fish I received was very soggy and oily and so was my girlfriends sausage and batter! You would expect it to have some sort of crunch! The chips was okish and they use cheap tartar sauce packets. Overall we won't be coming back. My suggestion is go to the CodFather in Abergavenny, much better local fish bar :"

All we had was a large bag of chips. They was delicious and served by a lovely lady.

Lovely chips but the fish was not fresh and the batter was rubbery re-heated, very disappointed.

Great taste, great portion size, great value! We had a fish each; fresh,chunky and perfectly cooked. A large portion of chips was too much even for three of us!!!!

Fantastic sausage and chips! The lovely ladies gave me generous portions of chips with great value for money. They were very friendly, and did my order just how I wanted it and were very quick! I highly recommend coming here :

Recently found this neat and tidy chippy while traveling through Wales. What a lovely place. Superb friendly service from two lovely ladies. Cod and chips for me and the lady wife. Superb, cooked to perfection, especially the chips. Well presented, even got a slice of lemon each. Offered and accepted a serviette and fork. Thanks ladies

The Fish and Chips did not disappoint, and that is saying something myself coming from Lincolnshire where we can get fish straight from Grimsby and the potato's are grown on our doorstep. The portions were generous, slightly expensive for a carryout but still worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall an enjoyable experience.
