This is a cozy warm pub. It serves excellent, tasty food in ample potions. The staff are very friendly with a dry humour. The toilets are spotless. We will definitely visit again in May 2025 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Ver carta

Five family members we always come here for our Birthday treat of the Saturday evening carvery it’s just like you would have at home but better . We often see the same people returning each time which tells you how lovely it is x Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We absolutely love The Vulcan. We went on recommendation and were not disappointed. We've been regulars on a Saturday night for the superb carvery dinner. Superb and staff are so friendly. Well worth the drive from Ipswich to Sizewell. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It's a pub that does food. Owner/barman gas a very droll sense of humour and an excellent choice in music, mainly 60s and 70s. Pub is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Really good pub grub. Our first ever visit here , dropped in for a couple of drinks, pub a bit oldy worldly which we don't mind, plaing good old 60s music, landlord friendly enough, feeling a bit peckish and they were serving a Roast Carvery at about 7.30pm which would have been too much as we just wanted a snack, so asked if it would be possible to maybe just have a couple of sandwiches with either of the meats on , maybe a bit cheeky I suppose but as business say they are struggling would have thought they could have done that !!! charged us say £4/5 each wouldn't have taken 2 minutes and we would have been happy and spent a few hours there but no can't possibly do that , so we finished our drink and left after...
