Noteworthy details: Disgustingly sticky tables, and filthy men's toilets it's time Environmental Health went in and forced it to come up to even a reasonable standard if they don't let it lose its licence. Service: 3 Location: 4

Lovely place Hunstanton, but unfortunately, The Wash and Tope is very tired .In need of refurbishment and prices are high considering the state of the rooms.But a plus the beds comfortable and great shower. Rooms: Need updating ,soon Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 5 Ver carta

Went for Sunday lunch as we were there...pretty poor ..all home cooked and home made gravy...roast potatoes hard as he'll...honey roast parsnips..no honey or roast about them...Yorkshire pudding.. were good..rest veg OK...2 slices of tiny meat..gravy was not good... Service: 3 Location: 2

Great location as its Hunstanton, service is ok I usually go when I finish work. It seems after 8pm it's a ghost town. One person on the bar, as soon as you order you're told we close in half an hour. They are turning off the tvs and lights to get you to leave. I won't be back for food or drinks. I haven't used the rooms but if the bar service is anything to go by I'd pass to the next place Service: 3

Spit and Sawdust pub/hotel, which means I loved it. Great banter with server. No extras apart from TVs to watch footie. Basic pub food, but best burger I have had for a while. Did not stay in the hotel, so no idea about that bit but wholeheartedly recommend the pub. A great evening, especially as Arsenal won 4-0 and Manure lost 3-2. We stopped by for a drink around lunchtime on a Saturday. The restaurant had a beautiful interior and a great variety of drinks, especially ales. The only downside was that it was cold inside because the fire wasn't lit and there weren't many customers around. We ended up being the only patrons for a while. It would have been a more enjoyable experience if the place was warmer. Eventually, we left and went to another pub where we could huddle around a radiator. Overall, we rate the experience with a 3 out of 5.

I reserved an economy room and it was really good. The bed was comfortable, the lighting was great, and it was clean - definitely value for money. Room 11 was much better than room 13. The only downside is that there is an extra £20 charge if you want to check in at 3pm, otherwise it's 5.30 check in. The rooms are cheap, clean, and comfortable. There are plenty of nearby activities as it's right near the seafront and close to all amenities. The prices are reasonable. I would give the rooms a rating of 5 and the service a rating of 4.

Visited during an afternoon when passing through the area with the intention of eating. We ordered drinks and chose one of the empty tables available. First impression was the beer mats stuck firmly to a table which probably hadn't been wiped down since 1876. I was glad to be wearing long sleeves or I may have had an unplanned arm wax. We decided to drink up and leave but I needed to use the rest room. I opened the door and was greeted with a smell which can only be described as the odour of the festering bowels of hell......
