Westbrook - Carta

we had a delicious meal here to celebrate our jubilee. the staff was friendly and helpful. we loved the separate vegan menu that even contains vegan wee and beer.

I'm already here a few times and I love them have vegan options, although I'm sure I had more before pandemic (the hope they bring this back) the last meal I had was ok, I had better, but it wouldn't stop visiting again. if they are in the opposite, they should be close.

for a pub embedded under the landscape, they would not expect such a huge and tasty vegan offer. they offer a separate vegan menu and are knowledgeable on all their directions. I wish more places would be so. great place to take their non vegan friends and family and not feel left behind by an outdated menu as in many similar places. Ver carta

I just had to write a big one for my 70th birthday meal with you. there were 13 of us. eating came together, not in dribs and drabs, which meant we all had eaten together. Eating was excellent. thanks to the chef! the steaks were especially pleased on the hot plate. cook their own. service was very good! would recommend to visit them! thank you!

I have visited this restaurant a few times and appreciate the fact that they offer vegan options. However, I believe they had more options before the pandemic, and I hope they bring those back. The last meal I had was just okay, I have had better meals elsewhere. Despite this, I would still be willing to visit again. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.

my parents here and although not vegan they also had vegan meals. I had the puy lentil, mushroom wellington, which was excellent. further meal times were eaten, the 5 beans chili, jackfruit and okra curry and vegan sausage and maic. all were very impressed by the food. these were followed with rhubarb crumble and apple crumble. a great foundation and will be visited again soon. We'd read on the vegan forums that the Westbrook had upped their vegan game and our visit(s) did not disappoint! It's a lovely English countryside' pub with a fire, beams, a fine selection of ports... and a proper, extensive vegan menu. The mains are all lovely we've had the roast (wellington and or nut roast) and the burgers. All delicious and the puddings are all lovely too. Just shows you a non-vegan establishment can provide a great vegan menu if they're willing to and these guys are willing to! Lovely friendly team too.

The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and we weren’t rushed to eat our meal. The vegan choices of around 10 main courses including 7 desserts and 2 starters were varied . The meal we had was very tasty and not too overwhelming in portion size. The staff were helpful and friendly. The garden was closed when we went but it was due to open soon and had some outdoor toys for children. If you wanted a lunchtime snack there was nothing vegan offered on the menu but we felt they would be open to adapting some of the meals. Nor were there any vegan options on the children’s menu for Vegan families. We will certainly go back. A very nice meal out.

have visited many paintings before the rule for sunday roasts. this time a Saturday evening birthday meal for a largish party of 7. which immediately beats them are the huge screens between tables. we felt like we had offered a dress to change before the doctor arrived! also makes it serving food quite tricky with tellers have to hand over the table down and again as no room for waiting staff around the opposite. all the workers in masks who have found something we put down. Others can of course be attracted by these measures, which is why they are still present. eating was good (not cheap) and quite well cooked. delicious maissole, great fries and other dishes such as the squid and the ribs...
