We had an amazing meal with a wide variety of choices at this restaurant. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

We went for the first time yesterday. We had both roast beef. It was absolutely beautiful. One of the best roast dinners we had. We'll go to lunch on Sunday. Good a visit very friendly staff great atmosphere..

Service was friendly and helpful. Sunday lunch very good especially lamb shank. Inside comfortable . The outside let's it down as booked it as a half way meeting point do was relieved when inside and food were good. Ver carta

Visited on a Sunday Lunch time. Place reasonably busy. Good big menu selection available. Food plentiful on plate, hot and tasty. Only downside was the long delay delivering the food at every course. Pity as overall this is good place, and would go again.

This place really knows how to do excellence. The menus have a great selection and food is always cooked perfectly. The beers are stored properly and always taste spot on. Not sure you'll find a better pint of East Coast IPA anywhere else. We visit this place regularly when in Cambridge.

The carvery is excellent with freshly cooked meat a selection of fresh veg and excellent real heaviness. The pub is a classic English with a good atmosphere, real wood fires in winter and outdoor tables for summer. I find the staff warm and helpful. I took the parties from 2 to 14 here for lunch without a single matter. Very recommended. Ver carta

Myself and four other mothers recently enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the restaurant. The sandwiches, warm scones, and assortment of cakes were all delicious and great value for money. We brought along our five babies, all 7 months old, but unfortunately the staff could not accommodate any more. They did offer high chairs, though. Overall, it was a great place and definitely worth another visit.

Booked here for Mothering Sunday, as I had never been here and reviews were good I thought I'd give it a try. But... We waited a long time to get a drink, we ordered food too as we'd been waiting for so long. Food took a very long time to come, even my elderly parents were hungry. When the food did come it looked good but drowned in gravy, which was pretty tasteless. They may have been busy or an off day but it didn't make me want to go there again. Decor needs an update, lots of stained chairs and carpet. No atmosphere.

Family dinner at The Wheatsheaf. The staff was very efficient, friendly and helpful. We had a young baby with us and a high chair was delivered. Our food was brought to us in good time, an order of halibut that was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, goat cheese Carabacio, very tasty, and honey roast ham with eggs and chips, also very beautiful. Portions were large and the food was very well presented. For dessert we had pancakes with cream, strawberries and ice and coffee cake, again, all very good portions. We sat at a table in the conservatory and noticed a toy box for the children. All in all a very pleasant meal in a very pleasant environment. Would you like to visit again an... Ver carta
