Unders new management since September. Joe and Lauren are friendly, welcoming and professional. Now open for food too. Lovely pub with great views over Blyth Estuary.

roast beef was £19 and was delicious. but only half a small roasted carrot, 1 sprig of broccoli was very small, also for fine dinning. the staff was friendly and helpful.

had an excellent Sunday lunch here yesterday roast beef followed by apfel crumbs were both delicious. the staff was very friendly and helpful. will definitely be back to visit. Ver carta

had an excellent meal eating super and all new workers very helpful I had a suppee, then a venison beetle cake with red cabbage an excellent combination my wife had a beetroot salad starter, then ended sea roast with desert well made adnams

I have been wanting to visit this place for years and I'm so glad I finally did. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the lamb chops and burgers. They have a great selection of wine and beer. It's a cozy, casual local pub. I will definitely be returning.

We went for lunch. Not a friendly welcome or a smile in sight. Two items on the menu were not available although we were there before 1pm. There was a slight mix up with our order, this was not dealt with in a friendly manner,...she made it very clear she considered the problem was our fault. The food we had was ok. What a lovely traditional pub. We stayed for 2 nights in one of the rooms in the annexe and we can't fault it. A really lovely decorated room and bathroom, spotlessly clean with a super comfy bed. Breakfast was a full English and it was...outstanding! We ate one evening meal there too and it again was fantastic... fish chips. Overall a really great pub and fantastic accommodation, would definitely recommend The White Hart to anyone, we will be back!

I made a last-minute reservation to stay in Whitehart for the night with my Yorkshire Terrier. I had recently lost a few of my dogs, who were brother and sister, so I was feeling really lost. The staff at the restaurant was incredibly kind and welcoming, just when I needed it most. My room had a beautiful view of the river mouth, and the breakfast was delicious. The chef even took the time to come chat with my dog and me. I will definitely be returning in the future. Overall, it was a superb experience!

After a 4.5 kilometer stroll from Southwold, we were in need of a bathroom break and a drink. What we ended up having was five delicious meals, including four cotes de boeuf and a duck breast, all paired perfectly with Adnams Merlot. The quality of the food was exceptional for a pub setting, and we were thoroughly impressed. The service was top-notch, with only two employees handling multiple customers with grace. They had great personalities that suited their roles well. The cozy atmosphere, complete with an open fire, only added to the experience. Plus, it's dog-friendly! Ver carta
