This is what every pub should be like. Good selection of regular meals, and interesting specials board and nice beer served by people who are happy to help. Great value for money.

Nice pub, very vibrant atmosphere and good English food and beers. I had dinner with some friends in a very warm and cosy room. Barmaids are lovely and kind. Burgers are succulent and I had a good traditional ale. Remmended.

This is a hidden gem! There were 14 of us. The staff were fantastic and food was really good. Service was efficient. There was a celiac in our group and they were very accommodating for the intolerance. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Met here from across the UK for lunch and a cousin reunion with an Aussie relative. Chose the White Horse as it was our local when we lived in Milton for many years. The staff were so friendly, the manageress was brilliant and very informative re the menu. The food was delicious and very freshly cooked. We felt welcome and not hurried at all. Thank you for making our reunion lovely.

Impromptu trip to Cambridgeshire, staying at a local Travelodge and we needed Sunday dinner. Called up at 11am, was able to book for 1pm. Packed when we arrived but food came quickly. Absolutely lovely Sunday roast crispy potatoes, lots of decent quality beef it really was a good meal and not too expensive. Our daughter had a lovely looking kids lasagne meal which was good value for money too. Decent choice of beers on tap. Chocolate fudge cake was AMAZING!!!

What a great pub! Myself, my husband, 5 friends and 2 dogs had lunch here twice during our stay up the road in Chittering. The staff are amazing especially the landlady. Both our visits were during the very hot weather but both times we were greeted with smiles and politeness. The food is wonderful with such great choices, not the usual pub grub. It is a busy, popular pub ut service is amazing and quick. Wish it could be our local. Thanks for making our holiday even better.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch and it was delicious as always. We have been coming here for the last 6 years and the service and quality of the food is of an extremely high standard. It's so easy to book over the phone with the staff being so helpful and polite. Upon arrival we always receive a lovely warm welcome. The food is well cooked and presented and piping hot. And the portions are so large I have had to ask for a wheelbarrow to help carry my belly out! If you enjoy a meal out that is great with attentive but unobtrusive staff then this is the place to go.

Food was great. Experience was less so. Firstly this is a pub that sells food. Sat in a separate area from the bar but that didn’t stop the bad language from the bar and clientele eating behind us permeating quite loudly into the eating area and spoiling our experience. Basically if you want a meal here you’d best be ready for a volley of bad language. We had an 11 year old with us and it wasn’t acceptable (the language not my son). Coupled with this you have to order at the bar and if someone has a large drinks order or there are too many waiting to get served you just have to wait. Again not great. The final kick in the teeth was going up to the bar at 2115 to order dessert only to be told...

We visited early December of last year (2022 . We took my husband’s grandmother out for lunch. We chose The White Horse based on recommendations (a lot of them! . When asking for recommendations from friends/family the most important thing was ‘homemade’ food for us. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the lady behind the bar. She was super helpful, explained how to order and offered to get us a highchair. After explaining our almost 2 year old would climb out of a highchair she went and got a booster seat so he could sit up the table with us which worked a treat!
