"we booked an early table when we had a child with us, but the service was long and exhausted. the meal huh goujons of the child for a 5 year old were raw and we had to send it back to be cooked. the lammregal was less tasteful with really arranged tasting engraving. the egg of the child came out without cookies. over everything it was very hit and miss with others dressed cold. the last thing that wasn't good was that all toilets were out of order and the whole restaurant, waiting staff, bar staff and kitchen were all on toilet, which was disabled with baby change and it was dirty and unhygienic."

I personally believe that this pub is fantastic - it's like an old faithful friend you can always count on. The large beer garden they offer is top-notch and perfect for any season.

everything was good, but the toilet situation is quite disgusting. the two main toilets were closed for a second week in succession, so we could use the disabled toilet that was so disgusting

When I booked I requested (tongue in cheek) a table “in the dry and by the fire”. It was dry and by the fire but it wasn’t lit! The radiators in our section were cold and we like most everybody kept our coats on, not comfortable.

First time I've been here for a number of years but everything was excellent. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, well cooked and attractive on the plate as well as having great flavour. Overall a most enjoyable evening and we will definitely re-visit in the not too distant future
