The Woodman - Carta

We were a party of 10 people. The food was served all at once, which was great. The staff was very professional and attentive. The burgers could use a bit more attention to detail, but overall they were well-prepared.

we stopped here by chance as we had to charge our car and decided to eat here too. my friends chose the Sunday treasure they enjoyed very much as it was fresh. I had the niceburger who was really delicious. friendly service

I just stopped with my partner here and we had one. efficient friendly staff, clean comfortable environment and. very nice eating. he had three meats and I had the vegetarian option, cheddar and lauchcake. we enjoyed our meals and would recommend. Ver carta

Fantastic service. We were a big group of 20 people and all the food came out together, all orders were correct, gluten free needs well catered for, children entertained by outside play area and inside play zone. Many of us had not been to the woodman before and everyone was impressed.

A bit noisy due to the road location but what a nice place! Good range of beer, good pub food and best of all for us two high speed electric car charging points in the car park. Pub garden is really nice so we sat outside. Definitely worth a stop off if you need to charge your car and grab a bite and a pint.

We were greeted promptly and warmly upon our arrival. Shown to our table and we ordered our.meal at the bar. The food arrived quickly and hot. The only small quibble would be the speed of bar service. Freindly staff just a little slow A little slower than you would expect for a Saturday evening. Thank you in all for a wonderful experience. My partner and I recently visited this restaurant and each had a carvery. The staff were efficient and friendly, the surroundings were clean and comfortable, and the food was very nice. My partner chose three meats, while I opted for the vegetarian option, the cheddar and leek pie. We both really enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend this place.

Fab friendly place and great food. We would just like to say that we had the carvery and the beef was very chewy and the knives were too blunt. Turkey and gammon beautifully tender and melt in the mouth with an exceptional array of vegetables and extras! Great flavours thank you. Another bonus is the outside space and the exploring and play equipment- just perfect!

We arrived at the restaurant 45 minutes early after traveling from Reading, expecting to wait in the bar area for our table due to the busy atmosphere. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a warm smile and seated immediately. We were informed that there could be a 40-minute wait for our food, but it was served in just 15 minutes, all with friendly service. The staff's customer service training is evident and they did an excellent job. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Ver carta
