My wife and I visited for the first time and were very happy with the food and service we received. My wife chose salmon which unfortunately wasn’t available so she chose the Sea Bass. We frequently dine at the Woolpack since we live nearby. We've consistently loved the food and experienced excellent, friendly service. I had a great experience at this restaurant during my evening meal. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. It was clearly a popular spot, as it was fully booked within an hour, with people arriving and having to wait for a table. This speaks highly of its popularity. Well done to the entire team! I visited The Woolpack for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The waitress was very welcoming and helpful, assisting me in navigating the restaurant with my elderly, disabled mother. We both enjoyed our meal, which was exactly what we needed on a damp Friday afternoon. Kudos to The Woolpack and a special thank you to the kind waitress for her excellent service. The food and drink selection was great, and the overall service was much appreciated. Service rating: 5/5.

This is a fantastic restaurant that offers a warm welcome. The staff is not only beautiful but also friendly and humorous, always ready for a chat. We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived until dinner was served. The restaurant was busy, and we were told our order of three meals would take about half an hour. I didn't mind the wait, especially since we were enjoying the atmosphere, but our meals arrived in just 15 minutes! The service was impressive, even on a busy Wednesday evening, and the food was absolutely delicious. The dining area is also pleasant. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped off by chance with my husband on the way home to grab something to eat. Initially they had stopped serving food as the lovely member of staff explained it had been non-stop for food orders which was understandable and no biggie. But the manageress and chef, asked us upon leaving if there was anything in particular we fancied to eat, fish chips/burger etc? And that it would be no trouble to accommodate us which, to me, is a rarity in most places these days. The staff were all absolutely lovely, friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious.
