"I visited this restaurant for dinner today after noticing they had a few appealing options on their menu. The setting was beautiful, with a fantastic view. I started with the gnocchi, which was absolutely incredible. However, I was disappointed with the main course, the banana blossom fish and chips. It lacked flavor and was overpoweringly greasy. Additionally, there was no vegan tartar sauce available, which I only found out after I asked. The mushy peas were merely a splodge on the plate. I believe they could easily improve this dish, but given the prices and their location, it seems they might be banking on having a somewhat captive audience."

"What a wonderful discovery! While on vacation, we decided to have Sunday lunch at a restaurant we found with great reviews. We were happy that we made a reservation, as the old pub was charming and located up the hill in Boscastle with a convenient car park. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, especially the roast which three of us ordered. It was honestly one of the best pub roasts we've ever had - tasty, generous portions, well-cooked, hot, and full of flavor. The fish and chips were also delicious, with fresh, light fish and crispy batter, accompanied by tasty chips. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend a visit."

"They have a free campsite here which is brilliant. Good flat pitches and a toilet with shower that you can use. We had a meal in the pub which for the most part was ok but one of the meals was not very good, nuked new potatoes which were quite inedible and Hunters Chicken which was just a butterflied chicken breast smothered in bottled barbecue sauce with a strange cheese topping! To be fair the staff were very helpful and understanding and took the price of this meal off the bill. It was probably just a one-off as they seemed to be having staffing issues. It is a quaint pub with a good atmosphere."

"I had a wonderful experience at this beautiful place. The room was stunning, and the bathroom was extraordinary, clean, and filled with delightful scents. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and surprisingly, it was very quiet despite being above the pub and across from the street. The food was excellent, a bit on the pricey side, but it was served hot and tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the overall experience fantastic. Highly recommended!"

"here for a cream tea stopped! we both wanted to have one as the board outside the caffes said cream tea for one, but decided to share one, as this was already our third cream tee in as many days as uou can see from the photo, we're very happy that we, as it consisted of 2 very big scones, and fantastic generous portions of jam and tarted cream we were very fast served by a very polite. a credit to the caffe and great to see these days. the creamtee itself was beautiful! I had also known a filter coffee (also, annoying as americano! which was both beautiful and hot, and tastefully we really enjoyed our afternoon look and go so far that from all the cream teas we had, this was the winner "
