Thornham Deli - Carta

My husband and I have been frequenting this deli for years. The food and service are consistently excellent, and we plan to visit at least once more this year. Highly recommend! - Mr. and Mrs. Fussy

Our first visit food and service perfect. How about a separate area for people with dogs we don’t all love dogs especially when we are eating,just a thought as we had four dogs on the table next to us.

We really enjoyed Thornham Deli. The menu was extensive, the service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We loved the decor and the fact that our group had 4 dogs too! Plenty of room for us to sit and enjoy. We will be back! Ver carta

We have visited this establishment and stayed at their B&B several times, and we have noticed changes in the atmosphere over time. What was once a charming, sweet place with a great ambiance has now turned into a commercialized, soulless shopping center. While we understand the need for expansion, we feel it could have been done in a more tasteful and sensible manner.

This is such a fabulous place to visit or stay. We have visited on many occasions and love the dog friendly relaxed atmosphere. The menu choice is fantastic and caters so well for all. We stayed for 2 nights in the suites and thought the decor and furnishings were exceptional. The staff are wonderful, Alex in the cafe is such a friendly welcoming asset to the team. We would highly recommend.

Visited the restaurant, which is part of the delicatessen shop, one lunchtime during the week. I would advise arriving early as it fills up quickly. Had a really lovely lunch there. Probably my only criticism would be that there are almost too many food choices, but the winter warmer menu is good value and the food is plentiful; it gives the feeling of being home cooked and is very tasty. Fabulous place to eat, drink and shop. Very busy but you can understand why. They’ve done it well, thanks to the great chefs in the kitchen the food is excellent with lots of choice. It’s a place to stay healthy fab, salads and Tom Yum Soup (which was delicious and filling) or be really naughty with some super puddings and cakes which looked dreamy. The deli counter, local food and spirits and some very nice gifts will keep you coming back.

A delightful , well run cafe with front of house staff who know their stuff and provide excellent attentive service. Also gold glitter footwear , attention to detail and customer needs only added even more to the fabulous experience. As for the food … we went twice for breakfast and were blown away by the quality of the dishes. Absolutely fantastic!! Dogs are well catered for and when we visited in Feb , a huge welcoming roaring log fire in the hearth. We will be back.

This restaurant is fantastic, with a diverse menu that can satisfy a variety of palates. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. However, during my most recent visit, I ordered a ham and mushroom omelette hoping for a light and fluffy dish, but instead received a dense, overcooked frittata folded in two. The ham turned out to be bacon strips, which was disappointing. Despite this mishap, the staff was too busy to address the issue. This was the first time we were dissatisfied, but it won't deter us from coming back in the future. Ver carta
