It felt like a mass-produced meal from a cafeteria or community center, which was disappointing compared to the quality of food typically served in home-cooked pub settings. It was especially disheartening, as this was meant to be a pre-booked Christmas meal. Waiting two hours for service was excessive, and attention to our table was lacking both during the wait and after our food was served. Although the menu looked promising, the reality of the food and overall experience did not live up to expectations. Honestly, I wish we had saved our money and stayed home instead."

I visited this restaurant in 2011, and recently a family member went there and we encountered the same issues - cold and undercooked food, including al dente vegetables.

Went for a carvery and the vegetable selection was awful. Burnt Parsnips, green beans and cauliflower Cheese. That was all the selection we had for an expensive cost. Left and went elsewhere.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, served in a vibrant atmosphere. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the dishes are incredibly delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I highly recommend dining here. Ver carta

We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at this restaurant. The sandwiches, cakes, sausage rolls, and scotch egg were all fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be coming back for lunch.

Sunday lunch was delicious, beautifully presented, and well organized. Although it was busy during this popular dining time, the staff managed everything exceptionally well. The outdoor seating area is lovely, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.
