"Came across this place by complete chance as a tourist this rainy afternoon exquisite food. One of the best tomato soups I have had in the longest time.. and great quality italian food ... loved the cabonara and grilled chicken too.. definitely recommend this hidden gem! Dietary restrictions: No gluten free pasta but they have a lot of meat and soup options! Great place! Service: Dine in"

"Richard and I, en route from Cambridge to Shropshire, chanced upon this splendid cafe in Kettering, easily accessible from the A14. The cafe occupies a cosy space with a breakfast bar by the window, offering a lovely view of the local red-brick architecture, and a fine place from which to watch the colourful characters of Kettering passing by. Unlike some cafes, there was no 'greasy spoon ' smell, which was a boon. Instead a delightful and appetite-arousing aroma of freshly cooked bacon and eggs. Richard opted for the small breakfast, and had no trouble in swapping out his eggs and tomato for black pudding and mushrooms at no extra cost. I ordered the much-vaunted breakfast baguette. The food was cooked freshly and served quickly. Richard was impressed by the appearance of his plate, and more so by the delicious food which he consumed with gusto. Richard said the bacon was well cooked, the mushrooms were good, not too greasy, generally everything was well cooked, the only thing that could have been better was the sausage, which was fine but obviously a 'standard quality ' sausage . My breakfast baguette was fantastic, the crispy bread was marvellous and the generous filling was hot and tasty, and not at all greasy. All this, plus two steaming cups of flavoursome tea for the bargain price of £9.90. We both took the opportunity to use the facilities and we 're impressed with their cleanliness and the provision of Radox soap. On the whole a great find. We will certainly drop in again if we pass by on another adventure."

"Had lunch here. The place has a homemade, indie, community vibe. Great music playing, and friendly relaxed staff. All age groups here with including children colouring in with pencils and paper provided. There is a separate vegan menu offering wraps,salads, and burgers. There is even a limited dessert offering. Had the jackfruit burger. Never had one before and really enjoyed it. Their own vegan slaw was great. Would definitely recommend this place"

"I visited yesterday with a party of 9 to celebrate my 50th. There were possibly 4 other people in the restaurant. Staff were courteous and polite as always and took the drinks order quickly. We had quite a long wait for starters as the kitchen's priorities appeared to be getting food out for the takeaway orders. I chose The Exotic Dining due to its wide variety of specials, which I viewed as its USP. Unfortunately though most of these, although on our menus, were not available! Time to choose a standard dish which was very tasty; no complaints about the food. The same can't be said for the desserts as there were none! Worse still, none of this was mentioned on booking or arrival. Very disappointed the restaurant has lost its magic and can no longer claim to offer anything above its plentiful competition."

"Ordered to collect having looked at this place for the last five years with the thought it always looks busy so must be good. I’m slightly biased in that, I have my reservations on ordering takeaways from sit in restaurants and the same vice virca, not sure why but I just presume the food won’t be as good in takeaway form from a sit down place. Staff were super friendly on collection and food was ready when they said it would be. Atmosphere inside is very cosy and has a traditional Indian restaurant feel clean, warm and accommodating. It’s quite evident that the occupiers of this business take great pride in the hospitality they provide. I was surprised just how good my meal was Sag Prawn with rice and naan. Ingredients were very fresh and bursting with flavour, I was able to taste all the ingredients very well. The food from this place is excellent and will be using again. Kettering needs more independent restaurant businesses like this one."
