Toby Carvery Liberton

I visited this restaurant last minute on a Sunday. It was much quieter than other Toby Carveries I have been to, which was a pleasant surprise. The food and service were great as usual. I also appreciated that this restaurant is dog-friendly.

great value for money. it was busy, so had to wait in waits. when we had our dog with us, we had to stand up separately and my partner is ready until the time I came back with my food. No complaining that we were both very happy and happy that we could bring our dog.

It was comfortable and most of the food was tasty. Just some square cooked item ?haggis which was dry and tasteless. Considering that it was all you can eat, the waitress was a little eager to clear our table. But otherwise and as always with Toby it was a good place to be at. Ver carta

This was the first time I had been to the Toby Carvery at Liberton and I will definitely be back. The service was fast and efficient with very little delay on food when ordered. My server Natalia was very bubbly and helpful which made the experience all the better. Thanks again and I will see you all soon!

There is no other place in Edinburgh that compares to this restaurant. We have dined here twice a day for a week and it has been incredible. Chef Thomas and Anna have been exceptional, the food has been outstanding, and the value for money unmatched. We are from Alberta, Canada and could not give a higher rating.

this is one of the better Toby’s around. beautiful staff when we visited with the children tonight. the bark and the ham were good to me, the others had truthahn and enjoyed it. pint of guinness was on the spot. good value for money. I came to foot in the last month after a hill and started the breakfast menu. fantastic price-performance ratio and again beautiful staff. Ver carta

that was my first visit to the Liberton branch (although in another in the past). friendly staff and always help. I was with my 2 years son found a children's menu similar to us. the food was fresh and tasty, but the dessert was on another level. never had profiterols so served, it was amazing to mix ice, whipped cream, chocolate and profiterole just wow. a lot of fun at the weekend. there is a massive beer garden in summer must be a fun

I love a Toby's breakfast as a treat for a catch up with friends or my Mum but the last time I was in was very underwhelming. The potato scones were brick hard around the edges, the chopped tomatoes were cold, there was only 3 sausages left and the square sausage was also hard. None of it was hot and the eggs weren't cooked properly (I know everyone eats them differently but the white should be fully cooked). Not sure I'll be back for breakfast after this.

I easily booked a breakfast online and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. We were informed that there would be a 10-minute wait for the buffet to be refilled, but the service was slow. We had to wait for eggs and mushrooms to be replenished while other parts of our breakfast grew cold. Additionally, a staff member was filling takeaway orders at the same counter, prioritizing them over the customers waiting at the buffet. Despite these issues, a staff member kindly refilled my water bottles before my journey home, which was greatly appreciated. She was a standout member of your team. Ver carta
