"My friend and I went on a seal watching trip from Ramsgate and wanted somewhere for a lovely tea afterwards. Oh my goodness this was just the ticket. Fantastic service, really delicious food, and a great setting. We loved it. Excellent qualities (too much) and...such good value, lots of choice but I would really recommend the afternoon tea as so much to eat and so beautifully presented. We asked for the Earl Grey tea which sadly wasn't included in the afternoon tea free fill ups, so we were given it for free. (actually we would happily have paid a supplement for this to be included). The cup cakes we couldn't eat were put in little boxes for later consumption with no fuss, A perfect afternoon tea."

"when a restaurant advertises that they make their own brot, smoke their own fish and metzger their own meat, I enter with great expectations. "100% of our opinion, this is the best restaurant in thanet. steve and cara work tirelessly in the open kitchen to ensure that the food is cooked to perfection. the personal is always friendly. we have recommended friends and family to this restaurant and everyone has loved it. perfect for couples, special nights outside, a Sunday roast and is child-friendly and dog-friendly. they make breakfast too! I had the mönchskorma omg last night! the seabass is stunning and steve makes the best shlit shoes and kaper. the insert is mouthwater and in any case try the broccolini! mixed with parmesan and chili. the restaurant is immaculate and very cozy with a great atmosphere. all products are bought before location and everything is fresh. as they can say, it is our favorite local restaurant and if they have not experienced it, in any case they give it a jump, but make sure they book in advance because it is always busy!"

"I've visited Ramsgate previously but the first time we have walked to the arches and came across this bar. We didn't eat here but decided to stop for a drink on s Saturday evening. Inside there were plenty of comfy chairs. The owner was sat opposite and chatty and all the staff were really friendly. There is a massive choice of gins to try and various cocktails. Whilst we was sat there we were given s few snacks with cheese, pretzels etc on. A DJ also set up whilst we was sat there. What should have been just one drink we ended up staying for several hours as really enjoyed it there. We went on quite a cold day but in summer they have seats outside which would be nice looking over the harbour. Next time we visit Ramsgate we will definitely come back here."
