We ordered raw oysters to end up with food poisoning. The lemons that were served with the oyster they put them back in a dish to serve to someone else. They violated so many food codes. I guess the board of health doesn’t control restaurants in Italy. Watching the waiters pick up raw fish with their hands and bring it back to the kitchen. The pasta with calms was okay. Probably the most expensive restaurant in Venice but also the one with the greatest reputation!!! If one says restaurant in Venice it's ai Do Forni!! The dishes start from around €30 and up but to these you have to add the cover charge which is 12% of what you take. Spectacular wine list from reds, whites to very fine Champagnes of all types. The service is excellent, the waiters are highly professional, always very attentive and with elegant table management. Smiling, courteous, friendly but never intrusive.

Historical activity of Venice stuck in the past, where only the dialect remains of tradition. Narrow seats and tables for an overcrowded room accompanied by gasping service and a hysterical environment. Russian service (planted at the table) illogical: cold food, it seems like it fell on the plate and away from the table with the hope that they will serve you everything you paid by weight. A showcase of fish as abundant as the sadness of their dull eyes and wrinkled skin. Definitely a place that is hard to forget! Unfortunately not well.

Very disappointing experience. The overall atmosphere is what we expected; busy, close seating and high volume. Although there seemed to be an abundance of servers, there wasn’t any personal service. When we did place our order, we decided to skip the appetizer. We ordered lasagna, bolognese, and the veal Milanese (spilt to share). The portions were sufficient, however, the lasagna noodles were overcooked (mushy) flavor was decent, the Bolognese was the best part of the meal, but still nothing special. The biggest disappointment was the veal Milanese, which was extremely dry, no sauce (more like a schnitzel). Make sure you ask about cost if they mention something you do not see on the menu....
