Great find away from the crowds with homemade food and brilliant house red. Ate hear twice and the only one we returned to in Castelmole.

One of the few places where fresh pasta is still made on the spot! We had orecchiette with zucchine and tagliatelle with sausages and finocchietto, delicious! Castemola is worth the visit just to eat there. Very welcoming and kind staff and reasonably priced. Looking forward to coming back.

This is one of the best restaurants we experienced during our recent trip to southern Italy. It is a small, intimate place with wonderful ambience. The food, however, was the real star. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. Don't miss the local specialty swordfish with tomatoes, olives and capers. Ver carta

Picked this restaurant at random really, but did book in advance and they reserved us a table in a small courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle of day-trippers to Castelmola. This restaurants serves simple, authentic and tasty dishes in a friendly and relaxed manner. The dishes are good value and the house wine was perfectly acceptable. We had a fantastic lunch here.

My wife and I shared some pepper mussels to start , not peppery but very good. We then shared a seafood and sweet cheese pasta and some sword fish rolls, both dishes were excellent. The restaurant has a courtyard garden where we sat which was a pleasant setting. No real view from this restaurant but If you value the quality of food and service over a view this is the place to go. Very reasonable cost 80euros including an excellent bottle of white wine. We will definitely use again.

We found the menu a little limited but managed to find three dishes that we liked plus a shared starter. The pages in the menu covering pizzas were deliberately stuck together that night making those dishes off limits. The starter was primarily if not exclusively cheese. Fried, natural, loaf and rolled into fried balls (we joked the dish should have been called “cheese, cheese and more cheese” . We deemed it okay. My son had the mixed (meat grill. He was served a plate of grilled meat. Nothing else. It was tasty he declared. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was also tasty but fairly large and of rather one flavour. My wife had the swordfish with a tomato, olive, capers and garlic sauce. I... Ver carta
