"Lovely place in Dijon. Spacious inside, but the terrace is the place to be. Can be a bit of windy sometimes, but it's worth the suffering. Watch the traffic and the people in the sun, or if you prefer the shade, sit in the shadow of an old church. Zip your wine of Corona beer and enjoy the food. Or amuse yourself when the lunatics try to take over the square. Here young locals come and enjoy the 'happy hour' and stay for dinner. And dinner (and the lunch) is worth staying. Salads, burgers, pizza's and specials are good. My own favorite? The RockFort burger. Of course with the delicious roquefort blue cheese. Local ingredients with lots of peppers remind you of the Caribean. Like the service: it's slow but accurate and very friendly. Reminds you of Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Martinique, St.Lucia and Curacao. I will be back!"

Well worth the visit, staff competent and friendly. Wednesday is live music night! A great terrace to dine outdoors.

The Ceasar Salad is the best I have ever tasted, fresh ingredients, and a wonderful flavor combination. There is plenty of outdoor seating and nice ambiance.

We popped here whilst driving from Southern France to London. We both had the most amazing burgers - cooked to order - that came with delicious fries. Yum yum yum, highly recommended! Ver carta

Best thing: menu clearly marks vegetarian and vegan options, not that easy in France. Good atmosphere, for younger crowds very popular, helped by happy hour. In general a good menu, uncomplicated, good service. Not for those looking for clothed tables and long wine menus.

Every time we visit Dijon we have our lunch at Trinidad brasserie because it offers a (very) good meal at a decent price. Plenty choice of burgers or (great) salads. And with a decent "pichet de vin" (caraf of wine) this offers you some rest in a great city. To be continued next year !!

The menu offers not only burgers, but a variety of choices for picky eaters, including good salads, vegetarian and vegan options. The brasserie uses mainly local products. The interior puts one in mind of the Leaky Cauldron with its mismatched tables and chairs. The service was very friendly, quick and efficient. Not sure if they speak other languages, though. What a great little place this is! We were staying at the nearby Hotel Des Ducs and went into Trinidad for our first drink in Dijon. We went back a couple times again. It is a young persons bar but despite being nearly 30 years older than most of the other customers, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. The Patron even gave us a drink on the house! Another plus is that Trinidad stays open to around 0130 - 0200 hrs in a city that is not renowned for late night opening.

The restaurant looks nice and is has a nice location. Probably is has good food too. But, at least one waiter, can be very rude and arrogant. Be aware. . We were travelling and have stopped in Dijon for a lunch. I have checked at the bar how long it will take to have the lunch, they told me 10 min. The next 20 min nobody came to take the order neither for food nor drinks. When I when back to check, the waiter, and his friend, "explained" to me in a very arrogant and rude way, that he is working alone and I should go back to my table and wait how much is needed. Meanwhile, they had enough time and staff to take orders from people that came later then us but where friends/permanent customers/l...

"first time in dijon; first time in this restaurant. It was one of the most pleasant meals we've had for a long time. unexpected flavours and textures at a very reasonable price., the dining room is small; warm welcome and service. It is essential to book a table. If you don't speak French well, ask someone to call you. You won't be disappointed. Don't let yourself be left by its neighbours who are fast foods and the "caffees" of the Middle East. It's only 10 minutes. walk to the city centre. we don't know too much Japanese cuisine and were not confident enough to prepare a selection of complementary dishes. We were delighted to see that menus are offered and we chose one of the three dishes at a modest price.24 €. fruit.) our main dishes were tender scalopes of pork (black pork of bigorre) also with notes of citrus. and garnished with sesame seeds. a different rice dish was served with each dish. My wife chose mixed sushi on the map. the service was generous and tasty. our desserts were pieces of caramelized orange - delicious. there are choices on the menu at 24 € - we were three to have preferred the same dishes. It doesn't matter whether it's a meeting between Japanese cuisine and French cuisine, it looks like a paradise wedding! the wine map is well chosen and at a reasonable price. -in no case a common combination in france. our white, the second cheapest in the list was so good that we had to have another bottle. It must be said that the owners don't speak English but that doesn't stop you. - simply specify the menu and prepare for adventure. That's what we have to do in German!"
