"we stumbled over this little gem of a restaurant during the visit to dovercourt one evening and the smell of the food was so mouthful water that we said that we had come back tomorrow with the rest of our travel companion to eat here. I'm glad we did this. this food was amazing! the experience began with the owner ibrahim greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. this is a wonderful man we soon found out puts so much time and love in eating as he does to make sure that the customer is happy. his attentiveness to ensure that we understood the dishes and what it contained was a refreshing change in the hurly atmosphere that has the majority of restaurants. a member of our party has a nut allergy and ibrahim ensured that the ordered court would not have cross-contamination or contact with any nuts. the food arrived and our thoughts were absolutely bleeding. everything was fresh, tasty, and the presentation of it was something they would find in a five star restaurant. the dishes were a large part of the food, but above all the quality was there. everything on the plate perfectly matched to each other, and there was so much taste in every dish that we all wanted that we were hungry so we could continue on this tasteful journey through the menu. the Turkish meze bar fulfilled and surpassed all expectations and I guarantee that I will let everyone I know participate in the kitchen and atmosphere of this amazing small restaurant. the prices are very reasonable, and no word of a lie that if this restaurant was in london, they need a reservation and expect to pay double. I hope everyone has the opportunity to meet ibrahim and his wonderful family during the Turkish meze bar. please go and experience the amazing food he serves proudly. amazing!"

Been 3 times since opened and each time food has been just as good! Varied menu and lots of choice for vegetarians! The hot n cold mixed meze is delicious and would highly recommend!!

Had a fantastic meal yesterday. Authentic food, very attentive staff, great service. perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Last time we went we ended up belly dancing with the chef! Looking forward to the Turkish night later this month. Ver carta

we loved it here, we visited harwich and chose this restaurant from the reviews. eating was excellent, and was nice that the dishes were explained to us, very reasonable prices too. friendly staff, it's a shame that we don't live any closer, as we would definitely have visited again, this restaurant would recommend 100

I am rather late writing this review as so busy with Christmas and a hubby that got man flu. We went to the Turkish Meze Bar on 17th December for the first time. We were given the menu and between us hadn't a clue what to order a very nice waitress picked up it was our first visit and introduced us to Donny the owner. He made us very welcome my friend said she felt like she was on holiday in Turkey but unfortunately without the sun. First of all we were served with a complimentary appetiser served with Turkish bread which was to die for.
