"I believe that the restaurant has lost interest due to being up for sale. My stay was very disappointing. I booked a double room, but it had two very uncomfortable single beds pushed together. The bedding seemed to have never been treated with fabric softener. The window and shower cubicle wouldn't close properly. There were many noisy roosters on the farm outside the rear rooms starting at 3:45am. I woke up because the window wouldn't close. The lighting was turned off early in the evening, making it difficult to use the main light in the room. There was no TV signal, breakfast was not provided as promised, no toiletries were available, and the walls were extremely thin. I could hear everything happening in the next room. It was the worst night I've had in a hotel in a long time. I will not stay here again and definitely would not recommend it."

First time there as went to Santapod following day very pleasant atmosphere very welcoming nice warm room and comfortable bed loved the breakfast bag hopefully visit again soon

Had my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Very pleased with service! polite and positive staff, friendly and calm environment. Food was amazing! Couldn't be any better. Desserts were delicious.

We had a wonderful family celebration meal at this restaurant. The food was of good quality and they were able to accommodate a baby in a high chair as well as a 4 year old. The service was excellent.

Have always heard good things about Vesuvio’s and they didn’t disappoint. Very tasty food, served piping hot and in good time. Quick service and well presented venue. A great place to visit with a group or as a couple. Reasonable prices too!

This used to be our favourite pre-lockdown evening meal, great Italian food, family feel. Sadly it is now an events venue focusing on weddings and highbrow car shows. Lack of service and attentiveness from staff waited over an hour for a simple food order and...when it arrived it was only average at best. Diners around us were complaining too. If you’re looking for good Italian food look elsewhere.

The food and service were all good. The restaurant is in a very large area, and reminds one more of a school assembly area, than a cosy' environment. Undoubtedly this is very good for large scale events, but not so good for a family/friends meal...out, and hence it is lacking in atmosphere. But the food was excellent, although the menu was somewhat limited if you were looking for a rather more ambitious food. The drinks were over priced, as so often is the case at many restaurants.
