"Me and my girfriend are often crossing the whole Germany from Poland to France (From Frankfurt nad odra / Slubice to Belfort). During this one day trip we like to have some stops in different cities, at least one to lunch or one to have a dinner. This time we decided randomly to visit a restaurant in the city of Emmendingen (north-east of Freiburg). Thanks to Tripadvisor we did choose one ot the best ranked restaurant (and still affordable). And then the choice was " Vielharmony ".On this sunday evening there was a lot of parked cars in the old city of Emmendingen where is located the restaurant. But still, it was rather easy to park close to the restaurant without paying. First of all, the hosts (either waitresses or owners) were very smily, pleasant, looking friendly at first sight. Then we did like the atmosphere of the restaurant. To be in this city, and in this restaurant, we felt something very peacefull, quiet, distressing. Well, we were very good here.About the choices : on this 23rd april it seems it was the time of Asparagus ! A lot of choices including this vegetable. There is not too much of choices in the card which sound rather good. We did choose the samethings : fishes on the grill with green salad, then as a desert a 'mousse' served with strawberries, then a hot chocolate, all this with as a drink : sparkling water. Free amuse bouche to start, quite nice, even if I can't describe this little thing.The fishes, 3 kind, were well cooked and tasty. Even if my girlfriend felt too much vinegar in the salad, but it's her own taste, because besides, for me it was very ok.Only bad point : the untasty tomatoes. In my opinion it's useless to put something untasty in the recipe. Either choose a good tomato, or do not include tomatoe in the recipe. But except this, it was very good.The dessert was very nice, I mean the especially this interesting mousse. Again : the strawberries were not that tasty, not similar to the tomatoe, but... close. I would say the same thing as for the tomatoe. But it did not destroy the desert. Good hot chocolate. It was rather quickly served, and in a pleasant way. One of the waitress (/owner ?) came to be sure all was ok. Of course, I did not mention the little deceptions about tomatoes/strawberries as it can be felt as agressive. And anyway, I think the cooks know the taste of the product of what they use. Finally the price is really fair. We paid 50 euros and some cents for both, and as overall we were happy we left a tip of 10%.We did really enjoy our time in Vielharmony, and we can only advice this place. By the way we had a little walk in the old city of Emmendingen, which is quite astonishing for us. It looks really nice and we have planned to have a short break other there to discover it."

Wir waren gestern Abend mit Freunden bei euch. Das Essen war sehr gut.... Gambas frisch und lecker. Service top sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Weiter so..... Danke für den schönen Abend. PS: bisschen weniger Thymian reicht auch

Die Inhaberin war sehr freundlich und hatte unseren Kindern auch Alternativen angeboten, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Letztendlich war dies aber nicht nötig. Ein tolles Essen mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Preise waren voll ok.Wir waren rundherum sehr zufrieden.

Bei unserem Besuch in Emmendingen haben wir das Weihnachtsessen im Restaurant "Vielharmonie" eingenommen. Auch dieses mal waren wir wieder voll begeistert. Die Bedienung wie auch die Chefin waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Qualität auch wieder total in Ordnung. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nach wie vor ok.Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Wir kommen regelmässig in die Vielharmonie und wurden noch nie enttäuscht.Der Service aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich, das Ambiente locker und entspannt.Die Leistung der Küche immer auf einem gleichbleibend hohen Niveau, für faire Preise. Besonders die Fischgerichte haben es uns angetan, unbedingt probieren:Salat mit scharfen Gambas.Ideal für die kleinen Auszeit vom Alltag.

We have been there for an invitation from our cousins. We were surprised how gut the resto ist. Because it was a "beer bar" for some years ago, which serveed only meat and deftig dish(heavy calories!). But at the presence, there are a lot of chic and well presented dishes from local products. the cart is small but you are sure to get good food. Also good normal wein of tehe region. South-West Germany is very very famous for their weins! The sun shines 200 days in a year!Greeting from the kitchen= appetiser is creative one, that time we had a small portion of cream-frâiche and a piece of sauer-herring! Then we had a small veggi soup as the second, and the pasta(gnocci- real home-made gnocci)...
