"The restaurant is next to the Marketing Office of the town and just few steps away of the City Hall of Heilbronn. We reserved a table and at first the restaurant was not full, but slowly after it was getting full. We are glad that...we booked our table. We were recommended the Wine by the server. It was a rose (pink) wine and taste delicious. The server is friendly and they can speak in English if you can't speak German. We ordered Swabian menu (Sauerbraten and Zwiebelrostbraten) with Spätzle (Swabian home-made noodles). The menu is in German but there is also English translation written under the foods' name. Sauerbraten is pork-meat cooked with sour sauce and zwiebelrostbraten is beef cooked with dark sauce with cooked onion on top of it. Salad came as Starters, big portion, so was the main course. The food is very yummy and delicious that we decided to take another bowl of noodles. We heard that the dessert of Apfelstrudel (kind of small apple pie) with vanilla ice and cream was recommended so we both ordered it and were very happy with it. We can also recommended the dessert. The price range is not too expensive, for 2 people you could spend roughly 60 Euro (including Wine and drinks). It could be cheaper if you come for lunch. All in all we would love to recommend you this place."

we had a great dinner in vinum. we had a little watery food, which was really good. also a large selection of wines. special mention of the super nice staff. top!

fine kitchen with good food - very nicely dressed, but still without senseless design-touch that distracts from the portion. :-) relaxed, and in the summer sitting fine to the outside. always happy!

Now, it is not a surprise that a city center restaurant does not have too much effort into it. they just don't need to, because of the good situation. that does not make any exception: the place, the staff and the food, they all say the same: we are not too harassed.

This place is one of oldest in town. No surprise but few things could be improved....like service and set up of room. Food just average but with environment impact does not match bill and competitors. Time to invest and change.....oposit investment will be sun ready.

"I had the luck to stumble over this small but very cozy restaurant along my route from stuttgart to Heilbronnn. atmosphere: when I went to the restaurant, I was greeted by the owner and his beautiful woman with a big smile. I continued. to order the shawarma as a main and a baba ghanouj as an appetizer (it is usual in libanon to start with hummus or baba ghanouj before the main). service: it took abt mins from the point order to get out for eating. the baba ghanouj looked colorful and very appetizing, took the Arabic brot out of the basket and dug in. Eat: - the baba ghanouj tasted very similar to what I used to return to libann. I can agree with authenticity. what I really liked about the plate is the attention for details, the cook understands clearly what with the eyes really mean. as for the chicken chawarma. good quality, it was divine. the chicken was very delicate and full of taste. no rubbery texture, it tastes very fresh. family businesses: the owners seem to enjoy what they do, they serve them with a smile and they feel like they are served by people they know for years. something that many small family restaurants do not do in Germany. kudos! worth for money: I paid for a beautiful part of babaghanouj and a huhn shawarma abt eurs. if they complain about such a price, they should live under a rock. the chicken sawarma costs over eurs and has much more taste than any Turkish döner they have ever. I look forward to my next trip to Heilbronn, I know where I'm going to lunch."
