"Overall, our experience at this restaurant was fine. We stayed for two nights last minute and the landlady was friendly and accommodating. However, the room was quite small and cramped, especially the bathroom. The bar and restaurant were run by children who didn't seem to have much hospitality experience. We had booked with dinner and breakfast included for both nights, but unfortunately, this wasn't registered in their system. When we came down for dinner on Sunday, we were informed that they stopped serving at 5pm, which we weren't made aware of beforehand. It's the little things that made our stay less enjoyable. The place may look nice from the outside, but it's all show and no substance. It wasn't a total disaster, but I wouldn't recommend it."

"We had a great meal and everyone was well satisfied, even with one vegetarian and one with allergies in our group! The staff were very understanding of the allergy requirements and assured us that most of the food is made on site and no nuts are used in the kitchen. They were happy to talk through our exact requirements and really made us feel that they were very on top of things, which really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves. It's so nice to have somewhere we can go within walking distance that serves such delicious food Vegetarian options: The veg option looked delicious and our vegetarian was well pleased with their meal! "Today we visited the Olive restaurant in Corby and I must say, it may just be my new favorite restaurant. I made a booking through their website and was provided with a recommended departure time. Upon arrival, I gave my name and was given several seating options. I chose a table by the window. We started with a bottle of Ombrellino Pinot Grigio Rose from Italy, which was a refreshing wine with notes of cherry and forest fruit. It paired well with our meals. For my starter, I had the Moules Mariniere, a classic French dish of mussels in a white wine, garlic, and parsley sauce served with ciabatta. It was delicious, though I wish they had provided a bowl for the discarded shells. My partner had the Tapas Trio, which included honey chorizo, patatas bravas, and a spinach feta parcel with tzatziki. He enjoyed it, especially the fresh and well-seasoned tzatziki. For my main course, I chose the Surf and Surf, a dish of cod fillet topped with Moroccan spiced prawns, served with new potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. It had a bit more spice than expected, but I still found it delicious. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan Pasta, which he thought was a great combination of flavors with well-seasoned chicken and balanced pasta. We were so impressed with the food and atmosphere that we decided to have dessert. We opted for the Orange and Amaretti Trifle, a layered dessert with biscotti, orange jelly, custard, and Chantilly cream. It was delicious and light, though we wished it was a bit bigger. "Lovely lady served us, scampi was nice. One thing i would say is the pub looks like it needs a clean. Not the tables but the doors and light switches were grubby on way out. Was clean where we eat, nothing wrong there. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2"

"We arrived on time was shown to our table comfortable seats , real Ale choice stunning he certainly runs a good all round bar We styled and looked at the black board menu good choice and reasonable prices Starter for me pate bang on the good lady had salt and pepper squid again very good I had the Thai green chicken curry fantastic wife had beef stroganoff she enjoyed that as well no desert because we had been strawberry picking and had them waiting at home but over all very good"
