"We visited this establishment yesterday for their first Thursday in the month Curry night. We were recommended by my cousin who's been there for Sunday roast a couple of times and commented on how outstanding the food was. I have to say it did not disappoint. The pub is a very old traditional pub with part of it still retaining its original flagstone flooring. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food extremely good. The Indian comprised starters with poppadoms and the selection of chutneys, which appear to be home-made and were far better than I have ever had in any Indian restaurant. There were two choices of main, a chicken balti or a beef dopiaza. I opted for the beef which was full of flavour, with plenty of large tender chunks of beef both options were served with a generous helping of Basmati rice and a small naan bread. We will most definitely return and I hope it will be sooner rather than later."

"Today we visited the Olive restaurant in Corby and I must say, it may just be my new favorite restaurant. I made a booking through their website and was provided with a recommended departure time. Upon arrival, I gave my name and was given several seating options. I chose a table by the window. We started with a bottle of Ombrellino Pinot Grigio Rose from Italy, which was a refreshing wine with notes of cherry and forest fruit. It paired well with our meals. For my starter, I had the Moules Mariniere, a classic French dish of mussels in a white wine, garlic, and parsley sauce served with ciabatta. It was delicious, though I wish they had provided a bowl for the discarded shells. My partner had the Tapas Trio, which included honey chorizo, patatas bravas, and a spinach feta parcel with tzatziki. He enjoyed it, especially the fresh and well-seasoned tzatziki. For my main course, I chose the Surf and Surf, a dish of cod fillet topped with Moroccan spiced prawns, served with new potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. It had a bit more spice than expected, but I still found it delicious. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan Pasta, which he thought was a great combination of flavors with well-seasoned chicken and balanced pasta. We were so impressed with the food and atmosphere that we decided to have dessert. We opted for the Orange and Amaretti Trifle, a layered dessert with biscotti, orange jelly, custard, and Chantilly cream. It was delicious and light, though we wished it was a bit bigger. "My partner and I visited the Voujon restaurant for dinner on August 29, 2023. As first-time visitors, we decided to give it a chance. We reserved a table for two at 5:30 pm and upon arrival, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and seated at our table. There was only one other table of diners in the restaurant. We started with drinks and a couple of poppadoms, then ordered our main meal. The service and food were excellent. When we left at 7:30 pm, the restaurant was almost full of customers on a Tuesday evening. We will definitely be returning to Voujon in Corby on a regular basis. Highly recommended. Helen and John"

"Food is all ways spot on, mostly home cooked and to perfection and amazing value. Great homely rural pub atmosphere very nicely decorated. excellent beer and wine selection. All ways kept very clean and tidy and willing to accommodate your needs if they can. Big outdoor well kept beer garden for the summer. Advised to book ahead for weekends as it can get fully booked. small car park but ample parking all around the front green."
