After a long time, I recently dined in the Stevenage area for the first time. The food is significantly better than it was 20 years ago. The prices are reasonable for what you get.

The vegan options here are incredibly delicious; it's my favorite place for vegan food in Stevenage. However, I found the dessert selections to be somewhat limited, which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure why that is the case.

I rated the atmosphere a 4 because the restaurant tends to get quite crowded in the evenings, and if you're seated near the restrooms or kitchen area, you can hear staff cleaning and clattering dishes. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with lovely service. Ver carta

I hadn't been to Wagamama in years, and I'm really glad I decided to go after work. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious and served hot. We ended up spending nearly two hours there, enjoying our meal and ordering more drinks! It was busy, but we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated.

The food was fantastic, as usual. However, what stood out the most was the warm welcome we received from our server, Kiana, when we walked in. She was genuinely kind and attentive throughout our evening, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Wagamama to anyone who enjoys flavorful cuisine. I visited on a weekday, so there was no wait at all, but be cautious—on weekends, you can typically expect a wait of 20 to 40 minutes. Overall, I would definitely return, as it's one of the best restaurants in Stevenage.

I think some of the menu items are overpriced for the quality. Generally the main was the best, I got the veg gyoza ramen, gutted they no longer do the cod or prawn ramen. The starter was okay, chilli squid, I don 't think it was particularly well cooked and it came out warm, but the dipping sauce was nice. The dessert was sadly the most disappointing I 've had in any restaurant, I don 't often do desserts but this one sounded really good on the menu. The chouxnut . It was like one of those cream chouxbuns that end up in the reduced section at Asda. It tasted chemically, it was very clearly not fresh, and it was very small. I resented spending £7 on something similar to a £1 reduced item at... Ver carta
