Called into Wapentake yesterday after a long trip to Leeds.. lovely friendly staff.. great quirky place to grab something to eat.. nice beer too.. loved it

Love, love, love this little gem of a place. It is cool, comfortable and VERY welcoming. One of my favourite places to go in Leeds. The cakes are delicious and the coffee always good! The staff are always very friendly too. Cannot recommend highly enough

the menu said ciabatta, sourded, etc. each was given a piece of ordinary toast. the menu said wild mushrooms, I received ordinary mushrooms. the menu said eier, we have an egg for the price they can get a much better quality brunch anywhere else in leeds. the food did not come like the photos.

much better experience on 24/12/22 than before. we could take our table early and the service was fast and very friendly. my vegan friends were well oriented. beautiful festive meal with crackers, fizz . we were also regularly checked. many thanks to wapentake including one of the owners who offered us additional drinks on the day.
