"We envy Haibach around this attraction. Perfect price-performance ratio, very tasty fresh food and the services and the cooks are therefore flink (without spreading hectic). Such a service and such a professional organization are no longer experienced. Here some gastronomy should look. Would also give 10 stars."

"Siamo stati al cucinaio per pranzo. Abbiamo mangiato delle ottime tigelle, mozzarella di bufala e burrata accompagnate da un eccellente prosciutto di Parma. Non c´é che dire tutti i prodotti sono di ottima qualità e dimostrano competenza e un´accurata selezione. Purtroppo non abbiamo assaggiato il vino perché di tre che eravamo mia moglie era incinta, io dovevo guidare ed il nostro amico che ci accompagnava é praticamente astemio, ma ci rifaremo presto perché ci torneremo di sicuro. Ciliegina sulla torta il servizio é ottimo. I padroni sono una coppia molto gentile e siamo rimasti quasi un´ora a chiacchierare piacevolmente con loro."

"We have spent a great evening in the outdoor area with musical live entertainment and delicious food, very friendly service, but a little chaotic, as you cannot place an order with any service employee. The Parmesan carrots have made something else to expect... they were rather croquettes with a hint of parmesan... and the salad plate has a proud price, as it is now everywhere in the gastronomy. Overall but still 4 stars for this wellness evening..."

"Reinste Katastrophe. Haben Frikadellen und Hähnchen spieß Teller bestellt. Angekommen mit bisschen bulgur und Reis. Kein beilage kein Vorspeise (meze) kein Salat Brot nur wenn man danach fragt. Als wir nach fragten sagte man uns wäre extra zu bestellen mit Aufpreis . Zum Schluss beim bezahlen sagte der Besitzer, wenn er Salat dazu anbieten würde ginge er pleite. Also wirklich sowas geht gar nicht. Da geh ich lieber in Darmstadt zum Nazar. Den ein Stern geb ich nur damit ich überhaupt in die Bewertung was posten kann. Nie wieder Limon. Die arme Bedienung man hat ihr angesehen das sie sich selber schämte wo sie unsere Teller brachte. Auch noch übers Ohr gehauen hat man uns. 45 Euro für 2 Personen. Frikadellen Teller 16 Euro, Hähnchen spieß 16 Euro, 32 und der Rest für Limo und Wasser. Also Getränke zusammen 13 Euro. Wau echt super, ist das nicht Haram.naja jeder kriegt das zurück was er verteilt. Hoffe das die daran ersticken. Schmeckt überhaupt nicht. Da liegen Welten zwischen Nazar und Limon."

"The restaurant of the Landhotel Klingerhof two miles away, our base, was closed and the receptionist recommended the Old Church in nearby Haibach, a pretty village in the valley below. It was almost full, and that at on a Sunday evening a good...sign! The place looked quite authentic, an impression re-inforced by the realisation that many locals were eating there. A friendly young waitress brought us a quite extensive menu in German only and we opted for a carafe of what we were told was a dry white housewine at a moderate price whilst we perused it. Neither of us found the wine dry and it was exchanged for another one without fuss, this time dry. I opted for the onion soup. My wife wanted a small tuna salad as a starter and sensibly suggested we should order our main course later, having seen the size of portions on other tables. My steaming soup arrived first, served in a big bowl; just as well it was so hot that I had to wait because it took some time for her salad to arrive. A starter salad? It was enormous, very fresh and delicious! Outgoing diners had to pass our table and we noticed that nearly all had a ‘doggy bag’ – it seemed to be taken for granted that most would be defeated by the amount of food and cardboard boxes to take uneaten food home were provided as if it was a matter of course. Our first course would have been enough but I felt a bit guilty, ordered some more wine, then agreed with my wife that we would order a Wiener Schnitzel (her choice) to be shared between us. A large plate with two schnitzels, French fries and salad arrived. We just could not do the contents justice (the food tasted fine and managed to eat just about a quarter between us. I had to explain to the waitress that there was nothing wrong with the food – on the contrary – and she immediately asked if we wanted a box to take the rest with us, an offer we declined. For two sizable first courses, basket of bread, a gigantic main course and ¾ litres of a very acceptable house wine the bill came to Euros!...This was quantity paired with quality at a give-away price!"
