No Longer Operating Wellingtons

Best breakfast I've ever had will go back again really good customer service and coffee and food was amazing would happily go back again.

Lovely place to eat especially for breakfast/brunch! Served by Eva and the team. Really well presented food and the milkshakes are a MUST!

Really disappointed, toast looked like it had been cooked on a radiator, mushrooms horrible, order was wrong and it was expensive, won’t be returning Ver carta

As a local, I am disappointed to see Wellingtons change to Welly's. Has the ownership changed? The atmosphere is not the same, the food seems outdated, and it was quiet on a Sunday morning.

Went there with family such a poor service and slow kitchen wait 1 hour for meal I will not recommend to any other people server did have clue how to set up table and keep dropping staff on the floor

I recently visited a cafe on the seafront that was formerly known as Wellingtons. We ordered two plates of scrambled eggs and two glasses of juice, and the total bill came to £20.10. I felt that it was overpriced and was disappointed to see that the old Wellingtons had left. The place was nearly empty, which speaks volumes. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning. What a shame! This restaurant is located right on the waterfront, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with a wide variety of food and drinks. It is also dog friendly. We visited for lunch on a Monday (when many places are closed) and found a few other tables of customers already there. The food was delicious and hot, but the service seemed a bit disorganized during our visit. The fries came late and separately, my order was incorrect, and the sauces we asked for were forgotten. Despite the somewhat high price for what ended up being a sandwich lunch, I would consider returning if in the area again due to the pleasant ambiance and friendly staff.

Great location, lovely staff but food was poor value for money. A fish finger sandwich contained just 2 fish fingers, barely a trace of the homemade tartare sauce promised and not even a salad leaf in propsect. A few broken up crisps on the side that weren't worth eating. The sausage sandwich was better but again served on a wooden platter with a measly smattering of crisps and served luke warm. The side of sweet potato fries was really poor. A tiny serving in a small terracota pot for £3.75! 2 sandwiches, a portion of sweet potato fries, one coffee and a cold drink for nearly £30! Too expensive. We had no more than £10 worth of food at best.

We waited 30 ish minutes for drinks and over an hour for food! Was told we were lying because of the food ticket (however we knew this to be untrue because our parking ran out). The one and only waitress apologised every time she brought over something and we initially sympathised because we understood hospitality can stressful and the only help was two very young girls who seemed very new. The food was delicious as always but was disappointed with the service. When receiving the bill which was full price I said to one of the young girls “I’m not being awkward but I’m not happy to pay full price can we speak to someone”. The manager stormed over shouting at us claiming that if we didn’t pay... Ver carta
