"I loved it here. we were out of bala last week and came three times. beautiful atmosphere, eating and beer. the personal was friendly and very courteous. at our last visit my mother took a ham sandwich, but it wasn't on the menu, but one of her colleagues went and talked to the cook and he could do a special for my mother and she really appreciated it. will definitely return when we visit bala again"

A gorgeous pub; staff were friendly, talkative and helpful, food was lush they do a cracking steak! And the walls were dotted with quirky antiques. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Bala!

even though they were already busy, the manager did everything he could to fit us. the staff was very good, the chef worked out his socks and eating was very high quality. well made to all employees for a beautiful meal.

I came back from a nice meal here. eating was amazing, my fiancée said it was the best mixed grill he had in a long time! the personal was pleasant and could not do enough for them and the atmosphere was brittle. would definitely recommend xxx

Bar a broken tap and the shower took an eternity to warm up; The hotel decor, coupled with the smell and warmth from a real fire made the place very cosy. The hotel had interesting character. I was persuaded into a fun quiz (thanks Ebony for making me feel welcomed) I was comfortable and able to relax during my stay.

I only had a great family dinner here. large portions, each quantity choice (which a decision asoo hard, as everything looks great,) friendly hardworking staff (thomas.) very courteous with our 2 young children. excellent value, great prices and excellent quality. highly recommended. this is our second visit and we will surely return

We had a Sunday lunch here and we couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome!!! Veggie option was more than my wife could manage but being a dog friendly pub, ours was able to finish off the extra gravy we had requested and then been presented with! An old style pub/hotel but modern management principles! Please visit and enjoy :
