I lived in Frankfurt years ago - this biergarten was on par with anything from my previous time in Germany and was better in many ways. Excellent food - and generous portions. And, the beer was exceptional.

Came to this place for an informal dinner with family and a few friends during a very brief stopover in Stuttgart. Nice décor, great food, equally great beer, and super nice service. We all really enjoyed our evening!

This is a very popular beer garden and restaurant all year round. In the warmer months it is great to sit outside and have some great German beer along with some flatbread pizza. They also have a very nice German menu. Make reservations!

The beautiful, large trees and the lively, but not overcrowded, atmosphere make for a great German biergarten experience. We had a massive (and cheap) flammkuchen and many halbes, and were impressed with the service! Definitely recommended!

The food is freshly made with mainly local ingredients. Nice atmosphere and an authentic German experience. The food is excellent but is not fast; however, well worth the wait. Everything we ordered was excellent: the schnitzel stood out. Reservations are recommended.

A Co-worker brought me here on the U-bahn. It was awesome! When I walked in I saw the prosciutto on the meat slicer and knew I had to have some. We split the small plate (plenty for two) probably 3 or 4 if you all have an entree and a dessert. I then had the "German ravioli" dish starts with an M, over salad. Very fresh salad sourced from local farms. Finished with what I would call a molten chocolate cake (chocolate cake with hot liquid chocolate center), served with vanilla ice cream and chopped fruit. I'll be back. I have to try the steak. The table next to us ordered them, they looked great

This is where we take any visitors for a good German meal. In the winter it is inside, in the summer it is in the Biergarten. We have found nothing on the menu that is not good. My particular favorite are the dinettes (flamkuchen) and my wife loves the soups and salads. However, do not miss the seasonal items. They change, but are always good. When the venison is available it is a sure winner. Don't miss out on the Berkel platter appetizer. In the winter, you have to make a reservation but in the summer, there always seems to be room in the biergarten. There are English menus available. The service is usually friendly and the staff very nice.

The Wirtshaus is a combination of a restaurant with a small hotel. The hotel is located close to the airport and a few meters from public transportation possibilities into the city centre. I booked a single room that was clean but very small. The room had a renovated bathroom, flatscreen and quick internet access Everything for a two night stay for a business trip not for a holiday. The hotel is located directly to a main road. The hotel is quiet but the noise of the road is clearly noticeable. I can image that in the summertime you will have the same problem with the Biergarten that is located behind the hotel. The breakfast is very modest without much choice. The restaurant is very cool inside. It has a very modern vibrant atmosphere and is usually fully booked and/or full. There is also a big beer garden that is used in the summer that looks good. The menu is German but not your typical German menu. For example, it has many salads with a choice of dressing. The wine classes, plates and presentation in general is very nice. The food is fantastic. I had the salad with goats cheese and prunes and the sesame dressing. The goats cheese was too strong to my taste.
