The food was great, and the staff were very friendly. While the gluten-free options are somewhat limited, it’s a pleasant spot for lunch if you don’t have any allergies.

I had a delightful Sunday lunch. The food was tasty, and the service was very friendly. The price per person was between £10 and £20. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

We were promptly seated by a very courteous gentleman. Our waitress, Vicki, was outstanding. The food, drinks, and service are all excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is quite relaxing, adorned with lovely Christmas decorations and a large fireplace that creates a cozy and warm ambiance. I absolutely love returning to this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. I arrived and my booking wasn’t on the list. We asked for a drinks menu and I was handed a cocktail list, later we managed to get a wine list instead. The food came out and had items missing, the salad had no rice or quinoa, the other meals had no crispy onions as listed on the menu. When mentioned, we didn’t even get a sorry or offer of any discount. The table and seats were not clean either. We won’t be returning.

We were a group of 12 celebrating my birthday, consisting of 10 adults and 2 children. The service was outstanding; all the staff were very attentive and made sure we were all served at the same time. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine, and the children were given fun animal-themed toys, which kept them entertained with various activities. The manager, Steve Dew, personally came over to welcome us, and it's clear that under his leadership, the pub has made significant improvements.
