"Nice place. Friendly service. Average food. Glass was dirty, needed replacing (I saw the couple next to me also send back a glass and a fork for the same reason). Beef teriyaki was really dry. Not enough sauce either. Sushi platter was the worse presented sushi I have ever seen. Ragged, rushed and the Nigiri was super thin (you could see through it). There was only one slice of tuna sashimi, should have been two. The sushi rolls we had were strange. The rice was compressed and it came out like a thick gloopy paste rather than sticky rice. Sushi fries delicious. Duck fries delicious. Mushroom ramen was average. Took ages to be delivered so everything else finished before her meal turned up."

The food, service, and staff were all fantastic at this restaurant. The staff were very attentive and we were served promptly. It was great to see the food conveyor belt in action again.

Visited before and enjoyed but this time the restaurant was dirty and food not tasty. Rice on the seats and dirty tables , rubbery tasteless squid and overly salty curry. Not in a hurry to come back.

My friend enjoyed the great variety of vegetarian sushi options, while I stuck with the classic sushi. The flavors were excellent, although I was a bit hesitant about the slightly warm rice. The prices were reasonable overall.

My son chose Japanese for his birthday treat. We had the full experience here with food on the conveyor belt, as well as warm food choices and Japanese drinks too. The 'Kids eat free ' was terrific value, great size portions in a fun box. Staff were really friendly and helpful as it was our first time and the style of restaurant is a bit different.

I went to this restaurant with my family last night (August 22nd) after a day of shopping. Overall, I felt that the food was too expensive for the portion sizes we received. We paid £8.95 for a small saucer with only 4 tiny items on it. The restaurant seemed a bit dirty, possibly due to the decor. However, the worst part was the condition of the men's restroom.

The place looks a bit worn. Clean, but ready for a sprucing up. The cost of the plates , for what you get, isn't quite right. Something seems out of whack. The sushi rice was warm and the rolls were tiny. I'm not being picky but they were half the size that they used to be. 60 quid later and I was a little bit let down. As mentioned before, the staff were lovely and polite.

The food itself was nice but I’d ordered 6 mini plates and only got 5, when I asked the wait staff that I was missing a plate in my order they said they’d sort it out for us and never did. Overheard the chefs say they had sent it out earlier and that they weren’t going to bother making it. We were waiting 40 mins for 1 plate and it never arrived so we left. The restaurant wasn’t too busy either. It was annoying as that one plate we were missing was the spicy chicken katsu rolls and it cost nearly £5! Bit disappointing really.

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
