Poor service average food Server ignored us at the door for some minutes. Finally seated. Poor demeanor came against as irritated and disinterested. Slammed our glasses down. Slow service. Food was fine.

Served by a young girl dark hair), didn’t get her name unfortunately but a credit to Zizzi’s. Her service was great, food was great and came really fast. Really enjoyed our experience, will be back again!

Arrived here on a busy Saturday evening We didn’t have a reservation but it wasn’t a problem. From start to finish everything was just perfect. 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 comfort Will definitely visit this restaurant next time we are in Birmingham. Ver carta

Had a lovely meal here. Quick service and food was great. Can’t thank Mathias (Matt) enough for the fantastic service we received. He was absolutely brilliant from seating us to us leaving. Despite not actually being our server, he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Thanks Mathias.

Visited for dinner. The location is great and the restaurant interior has a good atmosphere. Starters were probably the best part king prawns and garlic bread. I can only comment on my main which was seafood tagliatelle. The pasta was all stuck together at the end which wasn’t very pleasant. The mussels were nice but overall the meal was poor. Wouldn’t visit again.

My daughter recently brought back a pasta dish from this restaurant for takeout. Unfortunately, the dish was very bland and had a strange aftertaste that reminded me of Wagamama's food. I checked the prices and was surprised to see that this dish cost £14, which I feel is overpriced. I cannot comment on the staff or service as I did not have any interaction with them. Ver carta

Very slow service, waited over 40 mins for drinks, one starter was served with no cutlery, lady had to take cutlery from another table! Other tables not cleared of plates, glasses etc! Which in this heat at the moment is not good. However once food was brought to table this was nice served hot. No apology from the male members of staff, only from the lady that came on shift after we had been there for over an hour!

I have visited Zizzi several times, including this occasion, and I have always enjoyed the food and received good service. On a quiet Wednesday night, there were plenty of tables outside and we sat down at one. The waiter arrived quickly and we explained that we only wanted drinks (as we had a dinner reservation at another restaurant a couple of hours later). He then informed us that we could only order alcoholic drinks with main courses, otherwise we could only have soft drinks, and walked away. I had great hopes for a great meal as I’d had a lovely meal in York Zizzi having just been diagnosed with gluten and dairy intolerance. The waitress there was really helpful and I was impressed that much of the menu could be adapted to my diet. Unfortunately when I went to the Mailbox Zizzi in Birmingham. I felt rather disappointed. The servers were disinterested and just gave me a folder with spreadsheets randomly inserted and was left to try and work out what I could have. Some sort of colour coding would have been useful to divide the different courses.
