Zizzi - Romford - Menú

Visited this place today for the first time, my friend had the mega breakfast I had the cod & chips.

Well, if you want to eat for a low price, it's a good place But, it's not the best place to take an english breakfast.

Bit loud but to be expected at a family restaurant at lunch time. Food was good a prepared quickly. Waiter was great and friendly.

Fancy a typical and cheap English breakfast? This is the place to go! You can have a full English breakfast (up to 6 items in your plate) for less than £7.

We came to Zizzi for a girls meal out. Two of us ordered calzone but both were burnt and didn’t taste great. The waitress saw they were burnt and took them off the bill for us. Despite it not being very busy, the service was still very slow. The waitresses were friendly.

The restaurant manager here is a really nice chap and we were made to feel welcome. We picked a table a tucked away in the corner so service was a bit slower as we were not so easily seen. The food was tasty and and my parents enjoyed it (which isn’t always easily achieved lol) so overall would definitely recommend

On Valentine's Day, I made a reservation for two at 7pm. We didn't receive our appetizers until 8:15pm after complaining about the wait. By 9:15pm, we had still not received our main course and the kitchen seemed disorganized with a limited menu. The staff ignored us multiple times. We decided to leave and ended up eating at McDonald's.

I had been to this Zizzi 's restaurant quite a few times but on this occasion I was very disappointed. We had the festive set menu. I had the Mozzarella 'Nduja Trees, I only have two which had filling in the middle. I then had the mushroom and chicken risotto which I have had several times but this was way over cooked, mushy and large clumps of rise. I only had a couple of mouthfuls. The server come over to take our plains and ask was everything ok, I said theis was way over cooked. The server didn 't even apologise. I then had the millionaires slice which was very sickly. My friends said their food was ok but not wonderful too. I am planning on going back as I put this down to a bad experie...

We had reserved a specific table for my mother's wheelchair a couple of months ago, but upon arrival, the table was not ready and we were asked to sit elsewhere. I insisted on having the table we had requested, which they eventually set up, although not very happily. The staff were accommodating when two of our party arrived late, but there was a delay in receiving our drinks as the manageress decided to have a conversation with our waitress first. The menu had been changed, with no specials available and the Sea Bass dinner now only including pepper olive ragù, garlic sautéed sprouting broccoli cavolo nero, and no potatoes for the same price of nearly £16.
