"the fish dish - very small fillet, too salty, too greasy, the white aspargus with pancakes - very disappointed, the pancake could have used more eggs, very dense and doughy and the aspargus was not peeled properly, not only a few pieces but 95% of them. not edible. i mentioned it to the waitress that the meal was disappointin; however no apology.upon walking to the front to pay i noticed that the cook/owner came out of the kitchen, taking off his apron, he looked at us, turned around and went back into the kitchen. Very arrogant attitudei guess with the attitude - oh, i don't know them, probably tourists, they won't be back anyways. Little does he know that I am a local ( although not living there anymore )and my sister had quite a few big family celebrations in that restaurant. well, dear chef/owner - guess what - word of mouth does spread. Too bad, was really looking forward to a nice meal with white aspargus."

it is one of the oldest restaurants in eberbach, I can recommend that the carvings filled with cheese and do not forget to order something gravy

they should not be surprised if they are not a table reservation here, it is a popular restaurant and they will understand why. we enjoyed eating and octoberfest beer with the locals.

The restaurant is situated in a nice historic building and has a quiet terrace in the back. The staff is very friendly and the food is a selection of good basic local dishes. I came with friends on a Wednesday evening without reservation and got almost the last table, so I would book the book again well during the week. I am vegetarian and was happy to find Veggie options on the menu (sometimes have traditional German pubs. not even one) the veggie schnitzel was great, with chips and salat, it can not mistake the drinks were inexpensive the waiter was the highlight, really friendly and did his best, although he was alone on such a busy evening, he was attentive and crisp at the same time. I am definitiw back.
