"yes, what is there to say solemn? who comes here with the right expectations will certainly not be disappointed. Of course, this is not a 5-star restaurant, and the one or the other court on the map reminds of convenience food. for this, the ösi scores with its very extensive menu (carving in all variations, barley dishes, pizzas, steaks, hamburger), uriger atmosphere and a location away from the shot, which saves one of the very large tourist towers. Although not every court is a hit (so the ösi is not necessarily the best local to eat a steak) there are many classics that are unreliable to recommend - especially the schnitzel and hamburger can convince completely. the price-performance ratio is mostly good to acceptable, and for bamberger conditions definitiw still within the framework.I can recommend this restaurant fully. tipp: Bringing a lot of hungry, the portions are really lush!"

Das beste Schnitzel was ich bis jetzt gegessen hab. Pfefferschnitzel ist eine 10 von 10. Essen war schnell fertig. Portion war riesig. Alles hat gepasst.

Super Essen hier kocht man noch mit liebe. Salat super frisch. Schnitzel ist auf der Zunge vergangen, Burger da läuft einem das Wasser im Munde zusammen.

Essen gut und reichlich Service nur sehr wenig wir mussten 30 min warten um zu zahlen was einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Ambiente verstaubt. Bier vom Fass sehr gut.

Gemütliches Lokal. Die Wirtsleute scheinen im Lokal ihr Büro und Wohnzimmer zu haben. Die Soße zum Jägerschnitzel schmeckte eher nach Fertigsoße ein wenig aufgepeppt. Es gibt viele Variationen, die mich anfangs auf die Idee brachten das Lokal öfter aufzusuchen, doch dieser Wunsch besteht nicht mehr.

The price is really good, I ordered one type of Schnitzel and I got a HUGE portion that filled the whole plate, and the baked potatoes were absolutely delicious.They also have a wide variety of juices. The atmosphere is peaceful, they put sometimes some rock music, and in the summer they put tables outside.Recommendable Ver carta

Während unseres Aufenthalts in Bamberg waren wir an einem Abend auch im Restaurant Beim Ösi zum Essen. Als wir gegen 18:00 hinkamen, waren nur wenige Plätze belegt, so konnten wir uns auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch aussuchen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und die Karte bot eine bunte AUswahl bodenständiger Gerichte. Wir entschieden uns für ein Wiener Schnitzel bzw. Burger. Das Schnitzel schmeckte hervorragend, der Burger war mittelmäßig. Von daher würde ich als Mittelwert vier Sterne vergeben. Der Preis war fair, von daher würden wir einen Besuch empfehlen.

It is always good to find a small bar in Germany that makes good food, has a good selection of drinks plus is used by locals. In the nearby Congress Hotel Bamburg we explored the area, stumbled over Zum Osi and decided to visit. A friendly little bar there was a mix of students enjoy some hearty meals, a few families and a group of people playing cards.
