we were today for lunch in the restaurant to the melting pot. it is extremely cozy and we were served very friendly. the food was a tight one! we are happy to come back!

this is the first address in the place if you want to go well. has also a good location, is in the middle of the old town, a stone's throw away from the church. you should also look at the street closer: there you can see the old cellar entrances on the outside of the houses, in which the inhabitants of the lower city had their access earlier. we ate with four people there yesterday. it was very good and tasty, the waiting period was extremely long without having been pointed out before. the service (not the blonde) was unfortunately not friendly and made a lustless impression. her prescribed mouth-nut protection was only above her mouth because she should suffer from asthma. according to our opinion, it should not permanently serve customers in today's time. wearing a mask doesn't make fun of everyone, but we all have to be in law and legislation.

This is one of my favorite little towns in Germany, Maybe because my mother was born in a nearby town.I have family & friends in this town and nearby.When I visited on my other trips I have stayed at Hotel Post.Unfortunately when I tried to book it again, I discovered that Hotel Post was closed.Thank goodness for the Tourist Information office in Amorbach. A very helpful man, Patrik contacted me after I emailed the office and recommended Schmelzfanne Guesthaus. They have a website for the restaurant but there was no way to contact them for the lodging.Thanks to Patrik we were booked a very nice size & modern room.After we arrived we decided to have dinner here also and what a wonderful meal....
