Zweibar - Carta

everything I ever had was delicious! They offer breakfast to 3 o'clock and usually use organic and regional ingredients:

Love it. Great breakfast options (try the strammer max or moritz), lunch, dinner and coffee time. Different seating options too.

eating was good, healthy portions. I had the tofu beenedict that came with tofu, Hollandaise sauce, spinat, coconut bacon on two roasted slices brot. Ver carta

so far, I know the breakfast card. 5 vegan dishes are currently offered. tofu benedikt has my taste and the idea with the “Bacon” chocolate flakes I found super!

I went to this cafe restaurant to have a cuppa and a cake and do something work. no free wlan, but a good service, delicious coffee and a good selection of food. it can have a lot to do. from good ground.

Popped in here for a breakfast instead of the hotel which wanted €20 person (discount rate over €29 normal! . Had great cappuccino coffee and pastries plus bacon, beans, eggs, toast (not together! . Really liked the atmosphere so want back on day two. Don't miss...for best coffee Ver carta

Eating is exceptional. there is a dish for any type of vegan, egetaric, with or without meat. we tried a few diferente dishes and each one was tasteful. the atmosphere is also amazing and friendly/romantic. the staff are friendly and friendly and always with. a relatiw fast service, although the bar was fully recommended.

We ate here at least 5 times in the last couple of months while we were visiting Essen, and I had numbers of take away coffees as well. The coffee is great and the pancakes are unbeatable the worst thing about leaving Essen was...saying goodbye to the pancakes. Not sure why they are now only available on weekends a complete injustice to the world to discriminate against weekday breakfasters! Thanks Zweibar for keeping our spirits up during our stay, one cappuccino, hot chocolate and pancake at a time!

It 's funny but the Zweibar has a kind of cult status in Essen. I guess I can understand why, but in the end the experience of eating there is nothing so special. I have only been 3 times and always for brunch... this is what...the Zweibar is most famous for... those late breakfasts, or brunches. It is always dark inside; not dark and atmospheric, but rather dark and a little bit sombre... the dishes are slightly above average, the coffee is pretty good, the wait staff are friendly (but often a bit distracted and hard to track down), and so all in all it just doesn 't quite make it into the category of this is going to be one of my regular places .
