"I go to coffee heaven very regularly as I enjoy the nice relaxed atmosphere in they’re with very nice seating and even in busy days there is always a seat free plus I like they’re coffee. I refrain from going to big franchises like star bucks and costa because I prefer going to lesser known places like this. I always recommended this place to friends and would sometimes come in with friends or family however they had a change in management at the front. I found the previous manager to be very friendly and welcoming but the current manager is completely opposite. She’s very blunt and for some reason every time I go they’re now I don’t feel like I’m welcome. I’ve seen how friendly she is with other customers but with me she’s very blunt as if she does not want me in the shop like I’m a burden or something. Yesterday I went to the shop I had a pasty witch was bought from another shop witch I ate inside they’re and ordered a coffee as-well. Today I came in and ordered a coffee and the manager told me not to eat anything in they’re as a customer apparently complained about me eating something witch was bought from another shop witch I understood and agreed to. But then she went on about it again in front of the staff and customers and I felt very embarrassed so I left and definitely won’t be returning to this place. I normally don’t write a negative review about a company but I was deeply hurt by the way the manager has behaved with me today and I felt like I had to let my feelings known"

"Visited on a Friday afternoon/evening on a work afternoon out as a large group and was not disappointed! Started with grilled halloumi cheese, no sweet chilli sauce or condiments to go with it but some lettuce salad on the side. Lovely thick pieces of halloumi cooked perfectly and a generous portion for a starter at the usual price of upwards of £3 and closer to £4. Totally worth it and with the pitta bread on the table, chucking a piece in there is a winner for the taste palette. The main event really was impressive, I opted for the £10.90 Lyalena Mixed Grill. Lamb shish, chicken shish and lamb kafta were the main components and were accompanied by rice, chips, side salad and a stunning mayo and chilli side sauce. Considering the very reasonable price, the portion size was more than impressive and realistically could have been a meal for two. If you’re a good eater and like the challenge of battling meat sweats though, it’s more than worth the effort! Located in the heart of City Road in the Welsh capital, you may struggle to find parking but a drive up and down the side streets should prove fruitful eventually. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the city centre though, so not completely off the beaten path. No alcohol is sold there either, so you’re if you’re looking for a drink with your food: it’ll be a soft drink or water. Overall, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy, which is always a plus. It’s suitable for couples and groups and it’s worth a visit if you’re looking to try somewhere different and take in some authentic Lebanese food."
