"I was raised in Dumfries, and I've visited the Pizzeria almost every time I've been back to see family for the last 40 years. The food is, and has always been, excellent. The location in the park next to the river is lovely and great for the kids to play. It is a nice atmosphere in there. The Italian owners and the rest of the staff and the service are excellent. They're always friendly and efficient. You never wait long for food or drink, however, it's not rushed either. The food is the real highlight, though. The pizza is, of course, great. But the seafood, for me, is the real highlight; the fresh mussels I had were fabulous! This is a great restaurant!"
