"We ordered a delivery from Fork and Mustard today for myself and work colleagues. We made the order through Just Eat at 11:58am and were advised delivery would be 1pm. We were then notified that there was a delay in our order and that they would contact us when it had left for delivery, (we are located about 1 miles from shop). Myself and my colleagues finally received our order at 14:10pm. Just over 2 hours to prepare some toasties and soup and have these delivered is shocking. Food was warm when it arrived and average but would not order a delivery from here again due to time aspects. (before anyone comments about collecting, we work in the local hospital and we were unable to collect, that 's why we ordered for delivery)."

"Myself and my partner had a takeout from here for the first time this evening. The girl on the phone was very pleasant and the food arrived promptly, however that's as positive as it got. My partner's chicken chow mein had literally no sauce through it, just dry overcooked chicken with burned noodles. The curry sauce which he ordered was like wallpaper paste, but lacking in any distinct flavour. I had the chicken and yellow bean, which was edible but nothing amazing. I also ordered chips and gravy but I have no idea how they can call it gravy. It was yellow, which made me think it was actually curry sauce, but it just tasted off. We phoned to ask for a refund given how unsatisfied we were with the food we received, however the manager was immediately defensive and said that as it was our first time ordering from there, we obviously weren't used to the food (what?! . Instead of apologising and offering a full refund (which any decent company would do she tried to call our bluff by saying we were only entitled to a refund if we brought our half eaten food back (never heard of such a policy in my life, think she was trying to be smart or awkward . My partner has Covid and at no point did she think to check before asking for us to return our contaminated food. We went to the restaurant with our half eaten food and again we got a very defensive, abrupt attitude from the manager. She insisted that her restaurant has been open for 20 years (not sure of the relevance . Maybe in those 20 years she's lost her tastebuds to decent tasting Chinese food. She did provide us with the refund (minus the cost of delivery reluctantly. If anyone gets Covid after eating at Teng Huang Palace, it's because the manager insists on Covid victims returning their half eaten food for a refund :"

"This is a long way from my house! And we stay over in the area every year so I can visit the magnificent Kelpies sculptures which are just a few miles from the best gluten free fish and chips I have ever eaten. The staff are just lovely, and knowledgeable, and so friendly. Mark the owner takes great pride in producing not just tasty food for us special people who have coeliac disease and eat gluten free, but he is meticulous about the importance of not one bit of cross contamination. The menu is big so if you don’t like fish there’s plenty to choose from. The portions are huge and everything is cooked to order. Thanks to Mark and Dominique for making my 43rd wedding anniversary special. See you next year..if not sooner"

"My husband, our families, and I used to be regular customers at this restaurant, but in recent months we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of both the service and the food. During our last visit, we were disappointed by the dishes that we had enjoyed many times before. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she informed us that there was a new chef, but assured us that the recipes and ingredients were the same. However, the dishes tasted as if they were all coated in artificial flavors with different colors added. This was a far cry from the fresh and authentic Chinese cuisine we had grown accustomed to. We attempted takeout on two separate occasions since then and found the service to be disorganized and the food to be subpar. Despite our feedback, it seemed that our concerns were not taken seriously. We used to be loyal patrons of this establishment, but unfortunately, we have now given up and only visit the Cotton House instead."

"Visited with friends and family for Reserved dinner and Caberet special occasion!the table was booked in the part of the Venue where the Caberet was to be held the we were told after the meal and drinks due to overbooking it was moved to the bar area not the area we booked but we could listen to it through the speakers!went and spoke to the Manager and was told that he never asked us to come in not the reply I expected.I then said that what we had been given wasn't what we had agreed on reserving the table and double checking on arrival! I said it was bordering of fraud what he had done not only to us but all the rest of the tables booked!I said I was reluctant in paying the bill due to what had happened and was quickly told he would phone the police and my party would be asked to leave.I wasnt the only person complaining their were many complaints on the night!I asked if we could speak to the owner and was told why would he want to speak to you! After a while we knew nothing was going to be done so we paid the bill on checking it was noticed that we had been overcharged for items £16 for 2 bottles of tonic water and £6 for 2 dashes of lemonade well spotted! then it was noticed another 3 tables had been overcharged by up to £40 for items they never recieved ! Eventually we got a refund ! Not what we expected from a long running establishment the Manager was very unhelpful and insulting and dishing out threats not what you expect when booking a night out for a special occasion!"

"Good food at a good price. Only been here the once, so I cannot say I've samples enough of the menu to declare anything better than another, however the lamb chump was delicious, and the goat cheese went perfectly with the burger for a taste explosion. Don't be fooled by the outside, which looks like an American Diner. Once inside it's decked out as a pub, but with higher ceilings giving it an open feel. "it seems to be a restaurant that is more interested in paying than customers. try to book several places after a recommendation, but were put into operation, then said there were no tables available in the first two times. we finally managed to book and turn off a table. at the arrival the parking lot was very busy, so we drive twice to find a parking space. the restaurant is modern and beautifully furnished, with good choice on the menu, even if pricy. When you book a table, you'll be told that you only have an hour and will be reminded of it when you arrive. in theory this is good, but not when the nets do not arrive until they are already sitting for minutes. when we were gone, the waiting zone was already full, although the restaurant was open for just under an hour. the employees were all pleasant enough, but the service was not as expected. places were not set, we received the wrong number of menus for our party, cutlery was only in a stack in the middle and eating was just put on the table without rice/noodles served. so. all in all, an average restaurant, that is over hyped, in price, with an experience rather akin to a fast food chain instead of an authentic restaurant."

"Waiting for indoor snooker halls and pool to open up we decided to meet up at this venue. Two of us had been before so we knew what we were looking forward to. We all opted for breakfasts. My friends chose the retro breakfast while I chose the large option. Mine came out well presented with fried eggs, bacon,links sausage, square sausage,mushrooms,tattie scone,black pudding,haggis and toast on a side plate. Every mouthful was a delightful fresh taste. It was served hot and kept warm throughout adding to the quality of the food. My friends had coffee and I ordered sugar free irn bru which came perfectly chilled. We finished off with millionaires shortbread which tasted home made and complimented our choices. We would recommend this establishment to anyone and we will definitely return soon. We had booked a table to ensure we complied with covid regulations."

"Visited here with friends to celebrate at a Ruby Wedding Party. It was raining when we arrived and staff came to meet us out of taxi with an umbrella never had that before at a function very nice touch It was a very good sized...hall with a reasobable sized dance floor. The buffets was one of the best I have had in a very long time.Staff couldn't do enough for you Music was good too all added to the ambiance on the night. All in all I would definately think about gaving a function there in the future. Pity they are no longer doing the Bistro food since they have taken over the Park Bistro in Linlithgow that was a missed opportunity on my part."

"I recently had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a brat and cranberry baguette with a side of soup, and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. We sat in the additional seating area upstairs, which was lovely and away from the busy bar downstairs. The plates were impeccably clean, and the food was promptly sent back to the kitchen. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. COVID protocols were in place during my visit, including wearing face masks while moving around, using hand sanitizer upon entering, and providing contact tracing information."

"I can honestly say I’ve never had a worse dining experience in my life. The menu is very confusing and printed in basic word. There is no indication when booking of the menu being mostly a Malaysian menu. If you’re going for a classic pub meal as we were, this is not the restaurant for you. We would have been happy to trial some Malaysian cuisine, but the menu was so confusing and complicated it put half of our diners off this selection. No guidance or enthusiasm from the servers either might I add. Regardless of what we ordered off the menu, the food quality was terrible. The fish was mushy and tasteless, the gammon steak minimally cooked, frozen garlic bread and chicken wings. And the lamb curry and rice dish left our diners fearing for food poisoning. One of the dishes had a half eaten tangerine segment on the side! Excluding one kind server that took some money off our menu, the service was also terrible. Despite an empty restaurant the server missed two dishes, and one server rudely dropped an unexplained appetiser on the table. I’m disgusted that with money off we paid £80, after the owner agree to remove just £10 from our meal despite very poor quality and service. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. "We were disappointed after seeing the good reviews. We got 2 different pies both disappointed. Apparently it was (sadly) minced pork in one and shredded steak in the other. Both the pies and especially the fries should have been fried much more. However, all the girls are so dead and service minded, so of course they got a 10 percent tip it was definitely not because of the food. "This restaurant is one of the top three Indian restaurants I've tried between the West coast of Scotland and Falkirk. I have sampled many Indian restaurants and takeaways in North Ayrshire and around Glasgow, but most of them use too much ginger or are overly spicy, ruining the curry. However, I decided to give this place a try and I was blown away by the amazing quality of the food. The chicken curry was one of the best I've ever had, with tender and high-quality chicken that stood out from the rubbery chicken used in other places. The curry had a lovely taste, without being overwhelmed by ginger or excessive spices. The sauce had a delicious flavor that I hope they never change. This restaurant, located in Falkirk, is one of the three Indian restaurants I consider good in the area – the others being in Cumbernauld and also in Falkirk. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, a truly amazing dining experience that you shouldn't miss. Thank you!"

"finally around the thing. it was a few times, but wanted to exclude two visits. 16/12/17 girl xmas night outside. meal was nice, service was excellent. I wanted a table in the winter garden for a few more drinks and it was no problem for the girls who serve our table. perfect end of a night sitting on the fire drinking cocktails. fab atmosphere and good music. girls lunch 30/12/17 eat fab and cocktails amazing. again beautiful relaxed atmosphere. perfect for a good shopping trip. special mention to 3 employees Georgia, kenzie lynsey. also young gent on 30. who helped us recommend cocktails and tell us all about gin januar...what a really nice guy. I'm sorry he didn't name. at least we recommend this beautiful place."

"Celebrated my granddaughter’s 12 birthday meal at this top class restaurant. Warm welcome on arrival and the gentleman who served us went way and above to ensure it was a meal to remember. "Guilio’s in falkirk celebrates 2021 after two great food awards. I could hardly expect to try their fish chips. my friend went around 6.15 o'clock Friday 17/12/21 ordered a small fish dinner a single special fish we ate in their car. but they got the order wrong put chips with my special fish. the brothcrumbs were exactly right as they were not poured like ruff, but were just a bit too thin that the fish broke up when I tried to lift it, but it tasted ok. the teig on the fish of my friend was nice crisp but I had to leave a few of the chips, most of them were a bit too soft as u could see that it was a few bad. a much better fish sauce can be had in moscardies manor st falkirk is very favorable to sit for one. try it. I find her best in the FALKIRK area."

"OK, so this is ‘just’ a Pizza Hut review, right? And they’re all the same, aren’t they? Well in my experience they’re pretty much of a muchness. BUT this is the first visit we’ve had to this particular restaurant. From the moment we opened...the door and were second in the queue and the Manager checked on us and said he’d be right back to the moment we left and he made a point of thanking us and saying goodbye, we had the best experience. So good that I made a point of reviewing which for ‘just’ a Pizza Hut I wouldn’t normally do. This Manager, and his team, were non stop. The polite and efficient service, the explanations of the process of ordering and paying, the check backs, the food quality. Service with a smile and a chat. Not too intrusive just right. The whole lot was just top drawer. Had a few word with the Manager to pass my thoughts on to him. Wanted him to know first hand that his own very obvious work ethic was so positive to see and obviously rubbed off on his team. He said most had been with him for years. He also said that he was leaving the firm after years early retirement. He was an example to his staff. Leading from the front. Down in the trenches with them. Everyone deserves to retire, but if you take our advice Pizza Hut senior management, you’ll convince this man to stay and have him train your Managers on how to not only manage, but how to lead. Not on how to deal with the public but how to meaningfully engage with the public. My wife and I are both senior managers in different public facing organisations. This guy was just exceptional. I think his name was Stuart/Stewart. Sometimes the simplest things mean the most. So, as I said this wasn’t ‘just’ a Pizza Hut review because this wasn’t ‘just’ a normal Pizza Hut."
