"On a rainy summer Sunday in Bangor without the students around, it can be difficult to find restaurants serving non-carvery food as many establishments are closed. Fortunately, Eastern Origin was open for lunch and dinner, offering a variety of dishes. During our previous visit, the food was enjoyable but the decor of the restaurant was outdated. We were pleased to see that the restaurant had been renovated with new carpets, painted walls, and fresh linens. The menu featured traditional British Chinese dishes as well as more authentic Chinese options. We decided to try dim sum, crackling pork, char siu, rice, and vegetable noodles, all of which were plentiful, delicious, and served quickly. Overall, the meal was great value for money. We couldn't have asked for more."
