"What is a conscientious and good person, if you also see a fixed date for the company on holiday, since Lübeck is not as far away from Cuxhaven as Dresden. So put it in the service flasher and gedloom to Lübeck. The girls, of course, in the tow, the appointment was only scheduled for an hour. So while I took the appointment, my girls made the city of Lübeck unsafe. Since we have already learned a lot about Lübeck from Opi Hartwig's friend Walther, my wife, as a city leader, has now tried for our great. As city walks as well as meetings make hungry, and we wanted to meet again in the city centre for lunch, it was set to have lunch in Lübeck. That was easier said than done. In advance I had missed to contact the estimated GG colleague NoTeaForMe. Since the GG app hasn't been working for a few weeks, only Google and the surrounding area were left to explore. Actually, I wanted to go to the potato cellar, to my astonishment this Monday afternoon, but this and quite a lot of Gastros in the city center had closed. Even the extended search for a circle did not give that much hope. In the end, we stayed with the “Lübecker Nudelkontor”, the Google reviews were very mixed. But since we started early, and we were hungry, we finally decided. Lübecker Nudelkontor The few meters from the city centre to the theatre we ran in a few minutes, and the Lübecker Nudelhaus just opened. The small restaurant is inconspicuous to the theatre, in the outdoor area a few tables invite you to stay, which I would not do because of traffic. Exterior area, right on the street The restaurant sprays in the inner rather the charm of a bistros, the tables and chairs show clear signs of use, under some table lay a beer lid so that it does not tilt. The walls are decorated with all kinds of pictures of the grandmother(? of the owner, but also with flowers decorate the room. In one corner there is a small shelf with selected wines and oils. Gastraum Wein und Ölregal So we were the first guests, and took a place on the window overlooking the road and the adjacent construction gap, but also with direct view into the small kitchen. A young lady checked the 2G proof and brought us the menus to the table. The drinks were clear, and so we ordered: · 3x 0.4ér Coca Cola for 3,80 € 3x 0.4ér Coca Cola for 3,80 € The menu contains, as the name of the restaurant says, only pasta dishes in all variations. Excerpt from the menu In addition to the menu there are several day offers, which will be praised on a large slate table next to the counter. Day offers The restaurant filled up remarkably, seemingly some neighbors or employees from surrounding offices come to lunch more often, because one knew oneself and the preferences of the guests. We were now also so far, and so we ordered as main dishes: · 1x CANNELLONI CON SPINACI RICOTTA Cannelloni filled with spinach and ricotta (ital. fresh cheese baked in the oven for 11,70 € · 1x SPAGHETTI VERDI CON PANNA FUNGHI E SPECK fresh green spaghetti with bacon and champignons in cream sauce The host, or chef and boss of the house, could not be taken to keep a chat with his regular customers. We as Touris were more like an annoying contribution. However, we had enough time to look more closely into the corners and under the tables. Cleanliness does not seem to be the great credo of the boss, spider weaving as well as dirt fluffs were more common. Dreckflusen where to look Kippelige Tables and a Lappen have long not seen After we looked around enough, and rather do not want to know what it looks like in the kitchen, then our food came. My wife had chosen the CANNELLONI CON SPINACI RICOTTA. It has a large opening shape, equipped with three large canneloni, which was filled with plenty of spinach (from the TK and creamy fresh cheese. All in a creamy cheese cream sauce and baked with cheese. As a supplement there were fresh, soft and crispy baguettes. CANNELLONI CON SPINACI RICOTTA Cannelloni filled with spinach and ricotta (ital. fresh cheese baked in the oven for 11,70 € CANNELLONI CON SPINACI RICOTTA with fresh baguette daughters chose the SPAGHETTI VERDI CON PANNA FUNGHI E SPECK and was also not disappointed. On the plate a neat mountain of fresh, green spaghetti, served with plenty of crispy fried bacon and fresh fried mushrooms. To this end, a pleasant stick of a creamy, good-tasting cream sauce, similar to that with my wife, and on top of it a little hard cheese. Only the green, whole pepper bothered between the bacon and the mushrooms, he was also not exaggerated as an ingredient. But daughters are very good in sorting out, and so I had more pepper to pepper sauce. SPAGHETTI VERDI CON PANNA FUNGHI E SPECK fresh green spaghetti with bacon and champignons in cream sauce for 11.50 € I had decided with my penne with chicken strips and cream cream in pepper cream sauce also correctly. The penne pleasantly cooked to bite, abundant well roast chicken breast and fresh mushrooms in a well seasoned pepper sauce made my lunch delicious. The pepper sauce consisted more of green, whole pepper balls. On top of this again grated hard cheese. Penne with chicken strips and cream ampignons in pepper cream sauce for 12,00 € as a daily dish penne with chicken strips and cream ampignons in pepper cream sauce for 12,00 € as a daily dish After almost 45 minutes in the restaurant we were finished and at the view from the window we also looked at a man to do his emergency house right next to a restaurant and in the middle of the city. Well, the host can't do that, but at the latest, the appetite would have passed. Our conclusion: We left €46.60 in the Lübecker Nudelhaus for the third. At the food there was nothing to complain about, but the cleanliness as well as the tables and chairs leaves much to be desired. Cook as well as service were friendly, but both were also slow. If I had a working GG app, the warning from NoTeaForMe would have been more likely to come to me."

"In the tourist-strong axis between the Holstentor and the access to the historic Old Town Island, there are the offshoots of this famous steak and meat specialist chain for as long as I can call Lübeck my home. The reason that I came here for the first time was not the back media attention around the family life of the owners (while I didn't even know that the name of the restaurant actually comes from the last name block), but simply the fact that so many individual gastronomy in the city center attracted much more my interest. Now it was so far and on a Friday afternoon I also made myself a picture of what this chain really can offer qualitatively. External view from the Trave side. Entrance from the Holstenstraße. The entrance, which is slightly rearwardly offset from the Holstenstraße, initially leads through a glass sliding door. The restaurant itself is located in the first floor of the building, which is why a staircase has to be overcome here. There is an elevator for disabled guests, so there are no insurmountable obstacles. Also funny is the fact that on the ground floor the next Gastro chain awaits with the well-known XXL pizza shy “L’Osteria”. The “Block House” therefore does not offer an outside area. Interior. The interior is mainly characterized by darker wood and white plastered hues. In a compact way, the space with columns and small partitions is divided into individual seating areas. For me a little too compact, which sometimes made a somewhat narrow, bold impression. Images decorate the walls, the illumination I felt balanced. Chairs and benches follow this wooden look and also have red fabric cushions, which provided good comfort. The open kitchen. The bar. Other interesting elements of the restaurant are an open kitchen where you can see meat preparation on large plate grills, as well as the sterile metal bar, which is a salad counter to the same look. Overall, a qualitatively attractive interior design, which offers good privacy at the individual tables, but at the same time perhaps also looks somewhat too narrow. On this Wednesday afternoon, about half a dozen employees wobbled between the tables to serve the guests present and my littleness. At this time the restaurant was estimated to be 10, so it should not be a challenge for the staff in terms of attention. I personally was greeted and served by a middle-aged gentleman. He made a routined and professional impression that he showed in communication with kindness and security. He also did not miss a question of satisfaction during the meal and the payment process was smooth at the end. A solid service, which often wanted to experience the certain amount of cordiality, such as those through-organized chains, but did not want to convey it. The culinary focus of this restaurant chain is certainly most well known. Nevertheless, it should be explained again in brief. In the center are various sections of the beef, which can be assembled according to the modular principle with supplements according to choice. An extra section of the map highlights the appreciation of quality and expertise that you would like to make this offer special. The fleeeed “Cuts” range from the Rumpsteak, via the Tenderloin, Filet, Rib-Eye to the T-Bone. The “standard menu” includes a salad on the way, as well as an oven potato with sourcream and a “BLOCK HOUSE bread”. The salad can be composed by a counter itself, which provided the usual standard raw food. The salad counter. However, these supplements can be upgraded as desired with further potato products, sauces and vegetables. Here in Lübeck you pay between € 24 and € 43 for the standard, while the additional supplements are in the range of € 1 for sauces up to almost € 5 for fixed supplements. This central building block is streamlined by an international offer visibly tailored to the popularity of the masses. There are other salads and soups for the appetizer. Vegetarians are not to be spared, but must be quite uncreatively satisfied with the well-known oven potato, pasta and bowl. Other dishes around other types of meat (chicken, lamb) offer an alternative as well as the mandatory classics of the American “Bistro cuisine” with Burger and Co. Interesting is the fact that you leave the sweet conclusion at the offer, which is probably the only way to avoid mass convenience. The existence of a daily changing lunch dish at a discounted price of € 12.3 is also a matter of the fact that working days of 12-15, but also on weekends, can be ordered as “weekend highlights” for € 13.5. So on this Wednesday, I would have had the option of a “sweet steak with vegetable pan “South American style” and crispy fries. For this first visit, it should be for me again just a sample in the form of a small court. However, in order to get an impression of the actual quality of the meat offered here, I decide for the Tatar from the pasture bark from Northern Germany for 12 €. Tatar vom Weiderind aus Norddeutschland mit Beilagen und „BLOCK HOUSE Brot“. In the BLOCK HOUSE, the frequently seen sharper supplements in the form of onions, radishes and radishes, as well as a few capers, two slices “BLOCK HOUSE Bread”, as well as a salt-butter-taler on a cucumber disc are presented to this classic. The egg yolk must be dispensed with here. Of course, my first impression had to be the pure Tatar. I was very pleased to vote in favour. On the one hand it had a beautiful consistency with creaminess but at the same time chewing texture, no matter whether it was cut or cooked. The absence of the egg yolk did not constitute an obvious defect. Also tastefully the company's recipe is quite true, it had both the fleshy heartliness and a noticeable acidity/sharp of something mustard and a sweetness of probably ketchup in a good relationship on the palate. But now I look at the supplements around the Tatar, I just can't get over a certain point draw. All vegetables, with dryness already in use, proved the fear that everything has been prepared for a long time in the kitchen. The more sharp varieties could fit in the overall picture of the court, but they did not give added value than a little more gastric fill. The grain bread with the label “BLOCK HOUSE” is also found in this quality in packed form in every supermarket. The main thing (Tatar) was therefore, fortunately, not disappointing, a special feature for which it is worth going into a “BLOCK HOUSE” but in the end it was not enough. I therefore conclude this report as usual with a conclusion on the individual categories. The ambience follows a clear concept, which may not reach the atmosphere of an old, individual place, but also does not look as sterile as one might fear at a chain restaurant. Nevertheless, I did not remember it sustainably. During my visit to the service, the employees made a trained and experienced impression, but without exposing the certain perceptible cordiality that makes the visit even more special. My test of the meaty main competency of the chain with the beef tar revealed to me no defect and tadel in the main product, but in total with the qualitative but not the following supplements, it would rather not animate me for a new order just here. I received the price of currently 12 € for the offered so as not covered, but 100 - happy left me then compared to other already visited restaurants. Sure, on the top of my recommendation list for the versatile Lübeck city centre gastronomy, such a mass-ready concept restaurant can not place. Too much I appreciate a special self-sufficiency, which I think cannot be found in such chains. Nevertheless, I did not feel the visit to the “Block House” as a culinary, monetary or temporal waste."

Flambierte Chorizo in Tomatensauce, gegrillter Manchego in Orangensauce etc.

"The Italian restaurant ECCO is a regular facility in Lübeck because it has been in Lübeck for about 30 years. And for about as long as we go on there, eat pizza first. The house front is narrow, inside there is a pizza oven behind the vase. There is approx. 15 tables of different sizes, the restaurant extends backwards. At the end there is the kitchen, through a door next to the kitchen you reach the courtyard of the Old Town House in summer. There are also some tables in front of the restaurant on the street. But to eat here in the face of the many pedestrians and cars, I feel uncomfortable. The welcome is consistently friendly, as well as the farewell, a greeting was not owed to the staff in all these years. The operation is also with friendly words, family, time for a short chat is always in, you know now. In the early evening hours the whole family meets here often, should be hot, the restaurant not only offers original Italian cuisine, but also the accompanying atmosphere! White, reinforced tablecloths cover the tables, the flowers are always fresh – a beautiful sight! The menu, some pages drawn on a spiral, shows photos of Italian film stars in film scenes to solve the listing. Pizza, pasta, meat, fish, antipasti, soups and desserts. Everything here. And yet I want to choose pizza. Only in early February I had the no. 32 of the menu: vegetarian pizza with eggplants, zucchini, onions and tomatoes at 8.50 € and a rose wine with 0.2 l at 4.50 €. The pizza tastes wonderful here: thin and pink soil, covered with fresh ingredients, visual, tasteful and expensive perfect. In all these years I never had anything to complain, there is no reason not to give 5 stars."

"Again, I would like to introduce a restaurant from Lübeck, which is more likely to be arranged in the direction of a snack than a restaurant, but I was able to enjoy it again. The name is of course a program for the potato store located directly on the upper cross with a view of the old salt store. Originally offered primarily in Turkish locals as “Kumpir”, those with different components and sauces have already set foot in Germany for a long time. Since November 2016, the “potato store” has been adapting this food with various tasteful combinations. L-shaped rows around the treses where the selectable ingredients can be seen and the potatoes are also prepared, about a dozen tables in the interior of the brick. Outside areas are also available. If you don't find any space, you can also comfortably take the dishes packed in a box and enjoy a quiet place at the Obertrave. In the restaurant itself, however, service takes place at the table. Since my first visit in October 2017, I have visited the “potato store” several times, and I have often noticed the out-of-home offer, as the kiln potatoes hold up to their own 4 walls and then simply have to be brought to operating temperature again in their own oven. The consistently young staff acts sympathetic and, after the repeated visits, there is often a nice conversation during the preparation period. However, in the case of a pungent restaurant, the stress can sometimes become a bit more rare and the communication can become a bit more rare, which reduces the choice of stars a little bit. But now finally to the poodle core: the kiln potatoes. The tubers in the oven are softly cooked with a bowl (the absolutely edible bowl remains with it for my personal pleasure too, because I find it also delicious: The soft “potato crumb” is then mixed with butter or margarine as well as cheese, which makes it very creamy and preserves it from a fast drying out. Then the torment of the election begins at the “cover”. Both omnivores and vegetarians are absolutely fertile here. 12 fixed standard combinations of different taste orientations include the attached menu, which is still up to date (only the prices have increased by about €1-1.4, but of course you can always combine your potato crown yourself from the numerous ingredients and sauces.
