"I would like to begin by saying that I am used to restaurants where prices are above the table, but where they pay for the environment. I am not used to complain to waiters or to write negative cripples. but my friend and I felt that this experience deserves to be shared. early in the evening the restaurant was empty, but the terrace looked promising and we chose to sit there. we got olive and brot and we ordered two glasses wein (white and red:) the wee were honestly good and would represent the only positive points of the experience. we ordered prawn ravioli and a milanese escalope, each price to back, I know how to manage my expectations in this area of paris, but what we were served was absolutely subduing for these prices. the prawn ravioli: the ravioli pasta themselves were in order, but there were only of them and not too generously filled. they were soaked in a catastrophe of a sauce. it is sold on the menu as flavored with the heads of garnels, but it is really just canned tomatensauce with huge pieces of rohem garlic. of course to say that the small good taste of the filled pasta was completely wasted. the escalope: this calls less nuance, because there is nothing to save a small, dry, overboiled piece of thin baked meat. the side pastes were cooked with cheaper tomato sauce (again) that reminded me of my student days. we ate and asked for the bill, the haste to live this place. when paying, I had to tell the waiter that we had experienced a terrible price-to-quality ratio. first I thought he ignored me, but he actually called his manager because we were not the first customers to give this feedback. the manager was unapologetic: we were the ones who had a problem because “the owner has four restaurants in paris, so he must do the thing well.” yes, he tears off his customers and makes a fortune from them."
