"We thoroughly enjoyed our two dinners at the Renwicks Restaurant. The steak tasted amazing, and came as blue as I want it to be, the lemon torte and sticky toffee pudding were delicious, and the chicken liver parfait was very tasty. Our main issue was with portion sizes, not so much with the meat or fish themselves but with the vegetables/bread that come with them. I got one small mushroom and half a tomato with my steak! And the portion of celery remoulade with the chicken was very small. I also had the lamb which was fine (some of it was a wee bit dry for my liking) and got chips instead of mash potatoes (as they contain cream which I can’t have) and the chips looked very tired, like they had been waiting all day to be served ... The chicken parfait came with one slice of brioche toast but two would have been much better Overall the quality of ingredients is amazing, so it would be nice to have a little more of them! Staff were all very nice and very professional."
