"a dinner in general good, though with some dripping. the quality of raw materials is certainly excellent but not always appreciated at the most. I felt a bit on the roller coaster with a beaten finish. Although the place I like for its modern and minimal style, I find that there is a lack of personality and identity. the atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. the service was accurate, punctual and never intrusive. special mention to the sommelier who recommended me a great wine and a novelty for me, with the menu degotato. begins with a degotation of oil and focaccia. Stop, you can't leave! among other things all yeast from their products are very unified. the moment of the event is an explosion of flavors, three particular and delicious finger food, especially the enamelled fig. the appetizer provides tuna with figs and pistachios. He was melting in his mouth. pat the bowl with high edges, in which it was served, which made the ooo of knife and fork difficult and the experience less pleasant. the first small descent arrives. spaghetti (for my slightly back cooking) with black garlic, with chili oil and I could stop here because the goto of marinated and burrata shrimp was completely covered. the burrata, in fact, was not allowed. as if it had fallen by mistake, just to get the dish dirty. I sail with the curl, very soft, and a crumb to the olives, spectacular. in the dish also of caramelized onion, cucunci and a green apple frozen and fennel. The latter, personally, would have preferred it in puree, so as to tie everything better. start a new descent with dessert pre: a mango sorbet on the cocoa soil. More than anything was the ice flavored on something cocoa color from the unreceived goto. continue the vertiginous descent with dessert: a watermelon sorbet with ricotta cuffs and fresh fruit. also here of the flavored ice. for charity, ricotta and good fruit. but you can't define a dessert. Finally, it is clear, although partial, with the small pastry shop. a green apple jelly that knew of cooked apple, a kiss of a dama a little too hard and a creamy at the pistachio really good but that was already dissolved. I forgot that each dish had flowers, which did not add anything except decoration. No, thank you. Ultimately, as a client who loves to eat and as a professional who works with restaurants and hotels, I find that there are many good ideas that can be done better, and I know that it will be presumptuous, but I recommend to the chef to take a good pastry. because a sweet conclusion is everything that seeks the customer, as well as the last thing that will remember."

"Tuesday 14 May 2024 to Tuesday 21 May 2024 We have had an excellent week, despite the slightly cloudy weather for the first few days. However, we enjoyed the surprise thunderstorm on Sunday, as it came out of a clear blue sky. Excellent room and staff, as always. We especially enjoyed meeting the new member of staff, Misha, and bringing him/her pieces of sardines or swordfish back to the hotel in a napkin to eat when he/she woke up and appeared. Tuesday 9 May 2023 to Tuesday 16 May 2023 This is the first time we have been back in over two years and the hotel is busier than ever. There are the same friendly and gracious staff (as always but we have a different room tthis time. However, we love it! The weather was great today (Thursday but the forecast for the rest of our holiday is scattered showers or rain. Oh well! We're English so we will feel right at home. Friday 25 September 2020 to Friday 2 October 2020 These are difficult times. Especially if you have to deal with the incredibly incompetent head office of easyJet. EasyJet? Are they taking the ****? You would have to go a long way to find a worse airline. They make Ryan Air look like a model of professional and customer oriented efficiency. Anyway, there are the same wonderful staff and amenities at Hotel Gutkowski. Breakfast is a little different but all the changes we have seen so far are careful, wise and accommodating. We paid in full (the usual rate for a week plus the city tax of €2.00 per night on Thursday 1 October 2020 as we are being picked up at 8.00 AM tomorrow morning and there is sometimes a short queue at the front desk as people carefully distance themselves from each other. Sunday 5 May 2019 to Sunday 12 May 2019 Same room, same staff, same warm sunshine with not a cloud in sight, same crystal clear water and waves breaking rhythmically on the rocks only a few metres from our hotel. You cannot improve on the perfect holiday so why change anything? Sunday 8 April 2018 to Sunday 15 April 2018 We have stayed at this hotel for a week every spring for a number of years. This is our little secret so I hate to recommend it to you in case it gets too busy! (We LOVE being woken up by the rising sun and the sound of waves crashing on the coast, which is about ten metres from our second floor window. Heaven. Unfortunately, on Monday afternoon the wind dislodged the gigantic television aerial that the neighbour had attached to the side of the hotel so there was a rhythmic banging against the wall of our bedroom every few seconds. We had to be moved (temporarily to a different room while they tried to work out a solution. The staff on the front desk rose to this unusual challenge with the usual combination of professional competence and a positive outlook on the unexpected problems thrown up by life. Sunday 7 May 2017 to Sunday 14 May 2017 We stay at this hotel for a week every spring. Great location, simple rooms, superb breakfasts and the nicest front desk staff you will meet! May 2016 The best location in the world! Facing east so you are woken by the rising sun and the crashing of the waves a few metres away."

Consigliatissimo!"
