"Mein erster Besuch gestern bei der Speisekammer West hat sich mega gelohnt und ich war total positiv überrascht, vom freundlichen Service, die übersichtliche und gut geschriebene Karte sowie auch das hervorragende Essen. Wir saßen draussen und konnten den Abend dank des netten Service, was eine Ruhe Freundlichkeit ausgestrahlt hat, sehr geniessen. Grosses Lob geht besonders auch an die Küche. Die Vorspeise war so lecker, insbesondere die Himbeer Dressing zum Carpaccio von der Ringelbete mit Feldsalat gerösteten Kürbiskernen. Im Anschluss folgte die Knödelduo , Spinatknödel und Rote Beteknödel in brauner Butter und gebratene Kräutersaitlinge, einfach ein Traum. Ich habe mir noch einen Nachtisch bestellt : Nougatmousse mit Rosmarinzwetschgen, dazu noch ein Espresso der Abend war sehr gelungen und ich kann schon sagen, es war nicht der letzte Besuch im Westen ich werde wieder kommen. Ich kann es wärmstens nur weiter empfehlen, kommt vorbei es lohnt sich. Danke an das tolle Team, das es euch gibt um so ein tolles Genuss erleben zu dürfen."

"We went to this restaurant on a recommendation of some friends. It is like a deli inside that has been converted to a restaurant and they did a lovely job. The outside terrace is very inviting and we plan to return when the weather improves. They prepare the dishes right were you can watch and each plate is handcrafted for beautiful presentation. The menu specializes in homemade pizzas and pastas. It is not extensive with no meat or fish dishes however they do a daily menu with at least one meat/fish option and a 4 course meal for 35 Euro. I had the meal and it was all fantastic! My husband had the tortellini del Casa and it too was scrumptious. They don't have an extensive wine list but what they have is nice. The service is excellent and the chef takes time to talk to you as you are interested. As soon as we arrived they delivered a Campari and Prosecco and a treat from the chef. Fabulous! Everything was so fresh and well prepared. We will be back. Enjoy!"

"As always, the food, wine, and service were amazing! Even with the COVID curfew, they were able to make every moment feel genuine and not the least bit rushed. The chef’s menu gets stronger every time we come here. All of the dishes were delicious...but the cheese dish at the end of the night was incredible. It was the most cohesive and unique serving of cheese I have ever had at any of the Michelin starred restaurants I have been to. I had only three wines tonight and the sommelier was able to pair them across seven dishes masterfully. This is quickly becoming my favorite fine dining experience!"

"Wir waren zu viert im Aspendos in Stuttgart, voller Vorfreude auf gehobene türkische Küche. Als Münchner hatten wir uns online nach einem guten Restaurant umgesehen und hatten hohe Erwartungen. Leider wurden wir bitter enttäuscht. Ambiente: Das Lokal hinterließ zunächst einen guten Eindruck. Wir durften uns im Wintergarten einen Tisch aussuchen, was angenehm war. Doch leider endeten die positiven Eindrücke hier. Service: Der Service war das einzige Highlight des Abends. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemühte sich trotz allem, was schieflief. Essen: Die Wartezeiten waren zu lang, obwohl das Restaurant kaum besucht war. Die Vorspeisen (kalt und warm) kamen nach zu langer Wartezeit. Während die kalten Vorspeisen geschmacklich in Ordnung waren, waren die warmen Vorspeisen nur lauwarm und bestenfalls durchschnittlich. Die Hauptspeisen enttäuschten auf ganzer Linie: Rinderfrikadellen: Vier winzige, trockene Frikadellchen, die offensichtlich in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt wurden, serviert mit Bulgur, einem Stück eiskalter, trockener Grilltomate und einem kleinen weißen Bohnensalat – für 20 €. Gegrillte Aubergine: Auch dieses Gericht kam nur lauwarm aus der Mikrowelle und ohne jeglichen Wow-Effekt – 15,50 €. Lammhackspieß: Der Spieß wurde auf eiskaltem, trockenem, nach Pappe schmeckendem Fladenbrot serviert. Die bestellten Rosmarinkartoffeln entpuppten sich als drei kalte, gekochte Kartoffelscheiben. Ein Dip zum Fleisch, wie man ihn von türkischen Restaurants erwartet, fehlte völlig. Alles wirkte lieblos und in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt – weit entfernt von „gehobener Küche“. Das macht mein türkischer Imbiss an der Ecke besser! Zusätzliche Beobachtung: Anscheinend ist der Sonntag kein guter Tag, um im Aspendos essen zu gehen. Es wirkte, als stünde an diesem Tag nur ein überforderter Hilfskoch in der Küche. Wenn das tatsächlich der Fall ist, sollte der Wirt ernsthaft in Erwägung ziehen, das Lokal sonntags besser geschlossen zu lassen, anstatt den Gästen ein derart enttäuschendes Erlebnis zu bieten. Fazit: Das Aspendos konnte unsere Erwartungen nicht einmal ansatzweise erfüllen. Für diese Qualität sind die Preise eine absolute Frechheit. Einzig der Service rettete den Abend vor einem kompletten Fiasko. Wir waren nicht die einzigen Gäste, die sich über die Qualität beschwerten. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen."

"There is nothing special about this restaurant: The food isn 't really bad (I 've been offered worse , but between 4 adults and 2 children there was not even one dish that was at least somewhat memorable. The service was awkward, to say the least. What was...shocking however was their approach towards wines: they didn 't have a wine list, didn 't have a display of the wines they were selling and the few that they were displaying were showing no prices. Upon asking them about wines we were first offered red or white , upon further digging into the topic they asked me what do you drink?! , the next question was how much I 'd like to spend and so on and so on. At some point while I was still fighting to understand WHAT EXACTLY they 're selling they started offering me highly overpriced 40yrs old collector 's wines (off topic again! and at this point I gave up. We just got something they brought us: it was an overpriced simple Rosso di Montalcino, which they presented with a crazy story about how Rosso di Montalcino was being made. The story had nothing to do with the truth, but they felt really good about it... I 've never seen such ridiculous, unprofessional approach towards wine from an ITALIAN restaurant! Combined with the truly average food I can only call this one mediocre at best. Certainly a waste of time and money!"

Die sollte man wegschmeissen. Innen setzt sich das, wie zuerst befürchtet, aber nicht fort. Moderne, saubere Einrichtung mit nur wenigen paar chinesischen Dekoresten.Die Bedienung, eine deutschsprachige sehr junge Dame, ist gleich per Du mit einem und berät einen sehr freundlich und kompetent bei der Auswahl. Auch später ist immer mal Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch mit dem Gast. Auf der Karte sind wirklich vietnamesische Gerichte, die man sonst beim Asiaten so nicht bekommt. Spezialität sind die Suppen, aber es gibt auch viele andere Gerichte mit Rindfleisch etc. Die Preise sind günstig. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen."

"We chose the linden tree for our goose dinner with friends this year on the recommendation of a chef friend and were absolutely satisfied. We could choose between a 3 and 4 course menu. To start there was warm bread with goose fat and hay milk butter. As a starter, lamb's lettuce with an excellent dressing, then a wonderful soup with goose broth and goose scallops. The main course was the goose from Degerlocher Tegerhof, fried wonderfully crispy, the meat so tender that it fell off the bone. There was also quince puree, an excellently seasoned red cabbage, bread and potato dumplings with buttered crumbs on top. And plenty of extra fine sauce. Dessert was a lukewarm apple tart with almond crumble hazelnut cream, caramel curd ice cream. We'll definitely be back!"

Die Preise waren schon im höheren Bereich aber durchaus gerechtfertigt für die Qualität"

"In Jakes Diner bekommt man richtig gute Burger. Ambiente passt und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Die Auswahl kann sich sehen lassen und was mir besonders gut gefällt, sind die wöchentlich wechselnden immer etwas ausgefallenen Burger Variationen. Geschmacklich steht der Burger Triple B oder der Burger Republic in nichts nach. Auf jeden weit vor Hans im Glück ;) Was die Portionen angeht, ist Jakes auch mein Favorit. Bei meinem letzten Besuch hab ich festgestellt, dass sie nun auch verschiedene Veggie und Vegane Burger anbieten. Hatte abe große Lust, den gleichen zu nehmen, wie beim letzten mal. Meine Freundin fand den veganen allerdings richtig gut. Finde die selbergemachten Limonaden recht nice. Gut wäre hier allerdings wenn man sich zwischen zwei Süße Stufen entscheiden könnte. Vllt German und American (süßer) ;)"

"We were based in Bad Wildbad for the Rossini festival, but wanted to visit Stuttgart for the art museums and for the Mercedes Museum. We split it into two days. On one days, yesterday, we arrived in Stuttgart by train at about 11. From the main train station, we casually strolled north through the entire length of the Schlossgarten which ends just about at the Thai Thaani's front door! Couldn't have been more convenient, though we could have taken either the U1 or the U2 tram to get there as well. We were the first customers and were seated in the delightful outdoor garden. We're lucky we got there early, as by 1230 the outside was full, with many tables pre-reserved, and tables were beginning to be occupied inside, too. And this, on a Tuesday! Inexpensive lunch menu, with generously portioned dishes at around 8-12 euros. We decided that at those prices, the two of us could afford to have three dishes. We had duck in an interesting red curry sauce; green curry salmon, really good; and a fried tofu dish in a kind of basil sauce, also excellent, with good-quality tofu perfectly cooked. Germans simply don't eat spicy, and unless you ask, food will be "dumbed down". I like food spicy enough to cry when I eat. We asked for "almost Thai spicy", and that's what we got. Perfect. Not so spicy you couldn't taste the food, but quite spicy. With two Singhas, we paid a total of 39 euros. Not too bad. The regular a la carte menu is quite a bit more expensive, with main dishes between 18 and 23 euros. I think that 17 euros is wildly expensive for Pad Thai, for example!!!! But with care, I think one could construct a good complete dinner for about 35 euros per person. Charming, English-speaking staff. They could even do basic Italian!"

"Eigentlich schreibe ich keine Bewertungen für Italiener (mehr). Das kommt zum einen durch meine italienische Nachbarschaft, die mich stark in guter Küche beeinflusst haben. Aber auch durch die Normalität, die ein gutes italienisches Restaurant für mich mittlerweile erreicht hat. Ich weiß, es ist unfair. Aber von Zeit zu Zeit stolpere ich über echte Spitzenleistungen. Und das begeistert mich. So war ich kürzlich in Stuttgart und wusste nicht wohin zum Dinner. Der erste Laden war leer (ich bringe das bis heute noch nicht über mein Herz, einen leeren Laden zu betreten), beim zweite sah den Teller, der vor meiner Nase hergeführt wurde, und der sah einfach sch... aus. Also bin ich weiter und fand das Valle in der Geschwister-Scholl-Straße. Ich hatte keine Reservierung und kam spontan. Als mir der Capo die Tür aufhielt, ich einen Tisch nicht direkt neben der Toilette, sondern mitten im Gastraum bekam, obwohl ich ein einzelner Gast war. All das hat mich noch nicht misstrauisch gemacht. Auch als ich den Kellner nach den Spezialitäten des Hauses fragte, und ich nicht die üblichen Verdächtigen genannt bekam. All das machte mich nicht misstrauisch, sondern ich dachte immer noch: Ein weiterer guter Italiener in Deutschland. Aber dann kam die Vorspeise; Vitello Tonnato – und das ist ein Gericht bei dem ich mit meinen Freundlichen vor Ort (hallo Dominico) einen permanenten Kochwettbewerb habe – mit einer göttlichen Sauce. Was für ein Start! Und beim Hauptgang bin ich der Empfehlung Pasta Frutti di Mare gefolgt. Mir ist klar, dass Stuttgart nicht an der See liegt und ich hier nur gefrohrene Meeresfrüchte bekommen kann. Aber trotzdem. Es war einfach genial. Und wer sich meine anderen Bewertungen durchliest weiß, dass ich mit dieser Superlative sehr sparsam bin. Um dieses Review nicht ausufern zu lassen, kann ich nur eine dringende Empfehlung aussprechen. Der Service hat sich nicht nur optimal um mich gekümmert. Es war eine Freude zu sehen, wie er alle Gäste nicht nur freundlich, sondern hilfreich und mit viel Charm und Esprit bedient hat. Ich liebe Italien. Ganz besonders, wenn es so wie diesen Abend läuft. Faktencheck: Ich habe für meine Vorspeise, den Hauptgang, eine große Flasche Wasser, drei Glas Primitivo und den doppelten Espresso ink. Tip 75 Euro bezahlt. Wer darüber meckert, sollte selber kochen. Ach ja, und der Grappa als Geschenk war nicht kein billiger Abklatsch. Wenn ich wieder in Stuttgart bin, komme ich sehr gerne zurück. Grazie Mille."

"Wer etwas legeres am Rand der City sucht, asiatisches Bier liebt und sich gern koreanisch bekochen lässt, ist hier richtig. Endlich mal nicht das typische China Vietnam Thailand Sushi einerlei. Für uns war es ein sehr spannendes Erlebnis. Wir hatten das Gefühl koreanische Hausmannskost sehr frisch und sehr lecker mit liebe zubereitet zu bekommen. Die Einrichtung ist leger. Holztische, alte Schulstühle, Besteck auf dem Tisch. Aber keine Holzstäbchen!!! Metall. Fand ich sehr gut nachhaltig und hygienisch. Es gab Wonton, gebackene Fleischbälle, chicken wings, Sarah Nudeln und renmingpeng???? Sorry!!! Das war großartig Reis kimchi und weiteres in einer glühend heißen Schüssel. Entspanntes restaurant abseits des Mainstreams. Ach ja und sehr gute ruhige Musikauswahl aus Polynesien."
