"Man betritt das Lokal und wird vom Chef unter die Lupe genommen. Nein, nicht reserviert - "kein Problem, kommen sie mit!" Kaum sitzt man, schon wird man gefragt: "Essen sie gerne Fisch??? Ja? Nehmen Sie doch...." Fisch gab es aber gestern schon, also: "Dann nehmen Sie die Kalbsleber, die ist hier wirklich gut". Das Kölsch kommt rasend schnell.Langsam wird einem klar: hier ist die ganze Familie eingesetzt. Der Chef am Tresen, die Schwägerin im Service, der Bruder in der Küche. Selbst die Mutter setzt sich noch zu einem und erkundigt sich nach dem Wohlbefinden und fragt, ob es denn schmecke. Und es schmeckt: "Sie bekommen gleich die beste Kalbsleber ihres Lebens", "möchten Sie noch Brot", "ist der Salat recht". Als dann augenscheinlich gute Freunde des Chefs am Nebentisch platznehmen, wird man von dort auch noch mit Oktopus (Probehäppchen) gefüttert - "Toll, gell? Schmeckt das gut?" Ja, auch der Oktopus ist superlecker. Die Leber aber ist wirklich toll: mit Wein abgelöscht, schön reduziert, mit Paprika und Kartöffelchen und Reis... Als man dann wagt vorzuschlagen, künftig die Stückchen noch einen Hauch weniger und rosa zu garen (" ... die letzten drei Prozent..."), erfährt man: " Mein Bruder ist der Koch und DER sagt, das MUSS so sein ". Wer will da widersprechen? Aber immerhin wird man ermutigt, beim nächsten Besuch diesen Wunsch vorher kund zu tun. Ach ja: zwischendurch kommt noch der Koch (der Bruder) aus der Küche und fragt AUCH noch, ob es schmeckt.....Man zahlt und bekommt noch einen Ouzo und wird zum letzten Mal sprichwörtlich in den Arm genommen: der Chef trinkt einen mit, die Gäste am Nebentisch amüsieren sich ein letztes Mal über einen und der Chef geleitet einen noch zur Tür, ohne zu vergessen, noch eine griechische Lebensweisheit zum Thema Freundschaft mit auf den Weg zu geben. Die Rechnung? Mit zwei Kölsch 19,90 Euro für ein superleckeres Pfannengericht mit knackfrischem Salat. Dazu gratis ein superwitziges kleines Restauranterlebnis um die Ecke des Hotels mit erheblichem Kultcharakter....... Was will man mehr?"

"Came to this place merely due to convenience because it's literally across the road from the Holiday Inn Express.First impression: very nice interior deco and we were surprised it was a busy night too.Food: its name said it all - American Steak House. I ordered the spareribs and nougat brownies - they looked very nice, taste-wise they were ok.Spareribs - the meat falls off from the bones easily; they were soft and juicy, and they are not stingy with the BBQ sauces. However the meat is a bit fatty. (Tried other places that serve really good spareribs, lean meat and yet soft/juicy and falls off easily). Personally not a big fan of fatty meat so though it tastes good, not something I would have again.Brownies... looks nice when served, however it was served chilled/room temperature - again, personal preference would prefer it served warm so that it goes prefect with the ice cream.Colleague of mine tried the key lime pie; he was excited about it though his verdict is "tasted like lemon meringue".Would I go back? Not really.All in all, ok food in an impressive atmosphere."

"Wir waren am 2.Weihnachtsfeiertag mit 10 Personen zum Mittagessen im Bacco. Ich hatte zur Sicherheit schon Wochen vorher reserviert, was man wohl auch tun sollte,denn das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Wir bekamen einen sehr schönen Holztisch zugewiesen, an dem wir ausreichend Platz hatten. Bei der Bestellung des Essens war der Kellner sehr entspannt und ist auf (fast) alle Wünsche eingegangen ; ob Flexitarier, Vegetarier oder Seniorenteller , der so nicht auf der Karte steht, alles wurde möglich gemacht. Nur als eine Pizza mit unterschiedlicher Käsebelegung gewünscht wurde, bemerkte er: "Also wenn ich das in der Küche bestelle,bekomme ich die Kündigung!" Diese Bemerkung wurde mit einem Augenzwinkern in Richtung der jungen Dame unterstrichen, was wir alle äußerst sympathisch fanden... es war einfach die charmanteste Art zu sagen,dass eben nicht ALLES möglich ist...und die Pizza,die kredenzt wurde,hat augenscheinlich auch so geschmeckt, sie hat alles aufgegessen. Der Fisch und der Hirsch wurden auch gelobt, meine Bandnudeln mit Steinpilzen ohne Entenbruststreifen,wie es ursprünglich auf der Karte stand,waren auch super! Trotz des vollen Hauses war die Akustik gut,man konnte sich problemlos unterhalten. Der Service war einwandfrei, von der Bestellung bis zur Bewirtung hatten wir nichts auszusetzen."

"Nice to sit out in the summer with a fresh beer and watch the drive in the pedestrian zone. Add delicious brewhouse food or dine from the cheap lunch menu. Manko, as in Siegburg, I wish you would also be brewing a seasonal speciality like IPA, Porter or Bockbier as beer gourmet pilsener and celiac brew. And why was it that you sold food and beer out of the house in the lockdown? Shame"

"Vor Jahren waren wir mal in Peru Lima und konnten die peruanische Küche genießen. Leider ist Peru nicht gerade um die Ecke. Daher haben wir uns online auf die suche gemacht und Qichwa Peru Food gefunden. Dort haben wir etliche peruanische Produkte im Onlineshop bestellt und waren wirklich sehr begeistert. Wir haben einige Fleischarten gewürzt und mariniert. Wenn man einmal den Duft in der Nase hatte, möchte man mehr . Unsere Freunde waren ebenfalls sehr begeistert."

"We have eaten her twice in the last week. One lunch and one dinner. Service was good both times although they can be very busy at dinner time. Staff was very friendly and their English was considerably better than my German.The restaurant is large and seats a lot of people. It has a reasonably large and free parking lot although this can be full in the evenings.The address for this restaurant is Troisdorf but, it is on the very edge of Troisdorf directly off the A59 and closer to the Spich Bahnhof (train station) than the Troisdorf station. It is very easy to reach by car.The restaurant has adequate staff to serve the large seating area and the kitchen seems to keep up.The food is good but, this is not Tuscany and don't expect it to be like a meal in a local diner in Greve in Chianti.The price was quite reasonable and both times our meal for two with salads or antipasta and a main course plus sparkling water was in the neighborhood of €33.The pizza is gigantic but is also a style where the crust is only slightly thicker than a tissue paper. The toppings are tasty but thin. It is a style many people like but, my own preference is for thick chewy crust and toppings so thick a piece is hard to pick up like the original Uno's in Chicago or Regina's in Boston. This pizza has crust so thin it is difficult to pick up but, most people in Germany seem to eat pizza with a knife and fork.I thought the other pasta main courses were much better but, that is likely due to pizza style preference. The pasta dishes were very good and the antipasta appetizer plate was generous, plenty for two. It was unusual in that it had a variety of seafood items in it but, it was very good.This is a restaurant I will most certainly go back to and, I will likely try some of the other nearby ones including Bonn, Hurth, and Köln."

"Da draußen alle Plätze besetzt waren haben wir uns mit 9 Personen einen großen Tisch gesucht. Der bereits eingedeckte Tisch (waren alle eingedeckt) sah von weitem sehr schön aus. Die Teller, das Besteck und auch die Deko waren aber wohl seit einigen Tagen nicht getauscht worden. Anders kann ich mir die Staubschicht nicht erklären.Gut dass das Essen auf extra Tellern serviert wurde.Essen und Getränke wurden recht schnell serviert, sehr gut. Die Pizza hatte leider einen steinharten Rand und der Belag hatte den Geschmack auf dem Weg von der Küche bis zum Tisch spontan verloren.Das Bruschetta war in Ordnung, wurde aber auch erst 15 Minuten nach dem anderen Essen serviert. Von den 7 Burgern auf der Karte wurden leider 5 mit Edding geschwärzt (von allen Gerichten wurde das bei etwa einem drittel gemacht). Die zwei übrig gebliebenen Burger mit Huhn oder Rind (wurden von je einer Person unserer Gruppe getestet) waren absolut unterirdisch. Die Krönung war dann auch noch der "Oberkellner" (Besitzer??) der permanent eine Aushilfe (Student? - sehr nett und freundlich) vor allen Gästen zusammen gepfiffen hat.Auch das Bezahlen war ein Abenteuer. 9 Personen an einem großen Tisch sagen das sie gerne zahlen möchten. Fast alle legen ihre Geldbörse auf den Tisch. Der "Oberkellner kommt mit einer Rechnung und fragt "wer möchte Zahlen?". Auf unsere Bitte einzeln zu zahlen heißt es dann nur lapidar "das geht nicht mehr, hätten sie früher sagen müssen".Nach einigem hin und her durften wir dann doch einzeln an der Kasse (nicht am Tisch) zahlen.Sorry, aber der Abend in diesem Lokal war ein schlechter Witz.Bedienung (mit einer Ausnahme) sehr unfreundlich - Essen unter aller Kanone - Tisch sehr staubig - Preise wie in einem sehr guten Restaurant.Da passt einiges nicht zusammen, schade.Für mich war das definitiv der letzte Besuch."

Seit vielen vielen Jahren schon ist das Gyros im Dallas Grill für mich das Beste im ganzen Rhein-Sieg-Kreis. Leider bin ich 20km weiter weg gezogen, aber immer wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, fahre ich den Umweg gerne, weil's einfach zu gut schmeckt. Was man auch uuuuuunbedingt hervorheben muss, der Besitzer oder sein Sohn, da bin ich nicht ganz sicher, begrüßt jeden Gast so unfassbar freundlich und nett, dass man sich direkt total willkommen fühlt :"

"Viajando por Alemania de regreso a Inglaterra, escala en un hotel local en Bonn y me recomendaron que este restaurante italiano revisara las reseñas que no eran muy buenas y debo decir que no sé por qué no fueron tan buenas como nosotros. una ... muy buena comida. Me llevé a mi esposa de mi año y mi bebé de un mes viajamos todo el día, así que buscando una comida rápida, pedí los espaguetis a la boloñesa, mi esposa lasaña y comimos una ensalada y una canasta de pan, todo estaba muy bien mi pasta era salsa al dente y la carne estaba muy, muy buena, el pan estaba bien caliente y sabía fresco para mí a esta hora tardía del día y la ensalada que comimos estaba perfectamente vestida. el vino era bueno, era tan bueno que tuve que conseguir otra jarra de la casa blanca. es un restaurante familiar y hablamos con el joven que estaba allí y fue muy agradable y la historia del restaurante nos enteramos que estaba trabajando a tiempo parcial en el hotel en el que nos estábamos quedando en general, tuvimos una experiencia encantadora y el la pregunta es si volvería allí para otra comida, sí, lo haría"

Der Service an der Bahn war heute chaotisch, wurden ständig gefragt, ob wir dies oder das bestellt hätten (was bei 2 Pitcher mit Schorle eigentlich überschaubar wäre), der Zettel mit den Wunschspeisen für die Kinder war plötzlich weg, die letzten zwei Pizzen dauerten ewig, auf der Endrechnung waren falsche Getränke. Fazit, Bowling klasse, Organisation/Service stark verbesserungswürdig."

Außer unserem nur zwei weitere Tische besetzt, die Kellnerin ohne Konzept. Das Essen klingt gut, ist aber leider nicht besonders. Der Fisch totgebraten, mein Schweinefilet nichts weiter als Geschnetzeltes in zu fetter Soße. Schade."

Ich bin ein Fleischnarr bestell mir immer den Rumpsteak Preis Leistung bombe Will man Medium die kriegt man auch ,und natürlich auf den Punkt gegrillt.Die Bedienung ist freundlich sehr sehr sympathisch. Auch für meine türk. Landsleute empfehlenswert traditionell . Vor dem Essen lecker gewürztes Salat im anschluss das Hauptessen . In diesem Restaurant sollen die Schweine Rippchen der absoluter Favorit sein von vielen Kollegen gehört . Nur darüber kann ich nicht urteilen weil die sparte Schwein nicht mein Fall ist . Bitte Bargeld mitnehmen leider keine kartenzahlungsmöglichkeit . Weil es unmittelbar im stadtzentrum ist gibt es auch ganz in der Nähe auch Geldautomaten. Und falls man später in der gemütlichen Runde noch paar Bier trinken möchte gibt es gegenüber den stadtschreiber die wiederum auch gut besucht und empfehlenswert ist"

"We went to the Hoa Sen for dinner. The welcome was friendly, but they were a bit slow taking orders. For drinks I ordered a Bia Saigon (355ml for €3) but they also have local beers which are very reasonably priced.We ordered a mixed starter plate for two. The fresh spring rolls were ok, the fried spring rolls with rice paper and pork were really good. The prawn on sugar cane was missing the sugar cane on 2 of the 3 bits, which I found disappointing because I like to gnaw on the sugar cain. The Chinese style mini spring rolls were rather unnecessary (not tasty at all).For mains we ordered fried noodles with duck and a pho with beef. The duck was very good, crispy, not tough and the noodles tasted well with bits of mung bean sprouts and some vegetables. The pho had plenty of beef and other ingredients but tasted strong of cilantro.Prices are reasonable.Overall quality of the food was good though and we will be back."
