"in tübingen's deep-acid treated 1b position with fine dust maximum guarantee has increasingly become a mid-day hotspot with snacks every couleur and with offered any vegetarian level for several years. here I was planning to be a tübinger lunch, here. and unfortunately we had no luck with the cyclical ice cream, which here is otherwise branded by the imbisse market. instead of being cursed, we decided democratically and very spontaneously to change the empty ones. the centrale is located in the bank and irradiates entrance snow doblerstraße, only a house corner and the jump of a very large cat (about 100m) from the snack-epcentre. a kind of walk-in esophagus awaits you. a bar, a walk, at the window front high table with space for up to four dining rooms. right and left bar also wait a few tables for customers. also here it was solid full, but the busy waiter proved to be “ vaulted cellar, step down, left”. "what a terrible place and absolutely unprofessional service. became of the one I assume that he was the owner of this müllcontainer fire, with a “yes? you can take the table back.” then we spent the next few minutes waiting for someone who came and received our order. as the same type finally came to accept our order, and as a reminder, we mentioned that we have been waiting for several minutes, he mocked us only with “oooh, that is very long time” and began to whisper us aggressively into the face, as it is not his fault. during all this he did not even wear a face mask (Covid time), which he did not even when he served eating on other tables. this was the last straw for us and we said that we only want to pay and go (without ordering food). now, the passive-aggressive Greek “Macho” did not take up well and got a cliche attack where he quickly picked up the menu, smiling “ye, bye” said and stormed away. we were not taking off this evening. right next to us was a table where a few minutes came after us and still didn't even get a menu. "*English below* Das Vegi ist absolut mein Lieblingscafé, um einen Abend mit Freunden zu verbringen. Es ist super gemütlich und man hat eine riesige Auswahl an heißen und kalten Getränken und auch einiges zu Essen. Letztes Mal bestellten wir heiße Schokolade mit Hafermilch, einen Schoko-Mandel-Kuchen und einen Apfel-Walnuss-Kuchen. Die heiße Schokolade schmeckte super, der Schokokuchen war leider sehr trocken und krümelig : . Danach bestellten wir noch eine Frühlings- und eine Herbstschorle die auch sehr gut, aber sehr süß waren. Die Pommes sind ebenfalls etwas speziell :D, aber die Falafel schmecken wunderbar. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. The Vegi is my favorite cafe in Tübingen. It's super cozy and there's a great offer of hot and cold drinks on the menu. Last time we ordered hot chocolate with oat milk, a chocolate almond cake and an apple walnut cake. The hot chocolate was great, the chocolate cake was unfortunately very dry and crumbly : . Later, we ordered a Frühlings- and a Herbstschorle which were also very good, but very sweet. The fries are a bit specialbut the falafel are amazing. The service was friendly and quick."

"Wir waren dort Abends mit Freunden zum Essen verabredet und hatten uns oben auf die Dachterrasse gesetzt. Es war wenig los, vermutlich wegen den Semesterferien. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich, sehr forsch. Die Getränke und das Essen kam dann aber doch recht zügig. Wir hatten Pizza aus dem Steinofen und Pasta mit frischen Meeresfrüchten. Alles super lecker. Nach dem Essen wurden die Teller auch recht zügig abgeräumt und wir saßen bestimmt noch 45 Minuten da (auf dem trockenen) und es kam niemand mehr. Selbst auf die Rechnung mussten wir nochmals 10 Minuten warten.Wer also leckeres Essen mit schlechtem Service möchte ist dort gut aufgehoben."

Für die Jugendlichen und Kinder die dort trainieren sollte es ein günstigtes antialkoholisches Getränkeangebot geben. (LITERPREIS) Mineralwasser z.B 2 Euro. Ebenso wäre ein günstiges Pizza und ein Nudelgericht speziell für die Sportler*innen eine echte Unterstützung. Die Restaurantöffnungszeiten sind für die Sportler*innen und Zuschauer suboptimal. Ein echter Kritikpunkt ist der Verkehr des Pizzaexpress direkt vor den Sitzgelegenheiten der Zuschauer. Für Nichtsportler ist das Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen, es schmeckt wirklich sehr gut was dort angeboten wird. Das können wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Für zufriedene Sportler*innen bräuchte es noch etwas mehr."

"Auf Grund der guten Bewertungen zogen wir aus der Altstadt los, um dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Ein etwas chaotischer Empfang wurde von meiner Frage nach einem Aperitif zur Ratlosigkeit gesteigert. Dann kam der gastfreundliche Chef und begann von Tagesgerichten zu sprechen, um unvermittelt abzubrechen und in die Küche zu eilen. Er kam so bald nicht wieder. Jetzt waren wir selbst ratlos, und die Kellnerin brachte die Speisekarte mit einem guten alkoholfreien Aperitif. Um die weiteren Tagesgerichte zu erfahren, eilte die Kellnerin zum Chef, der aus der Küche nur einen Fischnamen rausrief. So weit so originell. Jedenfalls lief die Bestellung nun ähnlich chaotisch ab, immer im Disput zwischen Chef und Kellnerin, die eine große Geduld besaß (wie wir, die wir allmählich den Chef zu coachen begannen, damit er etwas weniger hektisch werde).Um es abzukürzen: der Abend verlief in dieser Art weiter, die Speisen waren nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich gut (teilweise überwürzt und entweder zu durchgegebraten oder kalt). Die Getränke kamen irgendwann oder gar nicht und die Kommunikation war immer chaotisch. Schließlich gab uns der Chef recht viel Nachlass auf die Rechnung und entschuldigte sich für die Fehler (wobei er eigentlich der Kellnerin die Schuld gab, was wir gar nicht fair fanden). Wir diskutierten beim Heimgehen, ob wir dem Lokal noch eine zweite Chance geben sollten und meinten, nein. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, wieder auf solch ein Desaster zu stoßen, ist zu groß. Bei aller Freundlichkeit des Teams fanden wir sie nicht liebenswerte Chaoten. Wir zahlen lieber einen vollen Preis für gutes Essen und guten Service."

"beautiful restaurant with good food, although the service seems to be somewhat unorganized. our children gave us a generous voucher for this restaurant, as they enjoyed it very well. we have a table reserved, which was a good idea, because at our arrival everything was full. it seems, however, that our waiter has forgotten us and I had to excite his attention after waiting for minutes to ask for a menu. it happens that the waiters are perhaps students and not a qualified staff, which I can understand as a mother of students. as vegetarian I ordered several things because they didn't have so many possibilities. (no tamago? Why since we have eaten in tokio sushi, my man lives in japan for years, our claims are high. the misosuppe was okay, though quite simple and could have more than just a few early onsights in it. I ordered a yuzu sprizz that seemed to be missing yuzu, as I couldn't taste it at all. the bier was the better choice. the sushi was very artistically made, perfectly rolled and very stylishly dressed the sushi menu of the mannes also looked very good, a mixture of nigiri, maki and futomaki, also elegantly presented. the dried tomato basilikum sushi was very interesting, an art Mediterranean vegetarian sushi, I think in fusion style. the vegetarian futomaki had some inlaid mushrooms that were also quite tasty, but contained fresh cheese that did not seem to fit. we shared a black sesame ice cream that was quite delicious and nutty. we wanted to try some Japanese whisky, but after we had waited a minute, we were told that they had no whiskys on the map. a little disappointing, as we were happy to do it. instead we tried the grappa and a gin. my tipp to the chef would be to add more vegan options, which are quite possible in Japanese cuisine, also add a little kimchi than supplement, perhaps to mix the dinge by offering some inserted daikon in vegetarian sushi rolls and some tamago sushi"

"wir waren etwa 12 Leute, haben alle unsere vorspeisen zusammen mit dem hauptgang bekommen, was die sich dabei gedacht haben wird sich mir wohl nie erschliessen. das wird einem dann hingestellt als ob das normal wäre, ohne Kommentar. meine mutter hat ihre Vorspeise (die sie als Hauptgang bestellt hatte) bekommen, da waren schon alle mit dem essen fertig. das war ein octopus salad. das ist schon ziemlich dürftig. den zwiebelrostbraten gab's dann mit Kartoffeln und nicht mit den bestellten spätzle und das arme fleisch war völlig überbraten, ich hatte medium rare bestellt und bekam fast durchgebraten und zäh. wenn man als koch kein steak braten kann, dann weiss ich auch nicht. salz scheint der koch auch richtig klasse zu finden. die Atmosphäre im herzog ulrich ist ja nett aber das essen... man kommt nicht um den gedanken umhin, man möchte für sein geld mehr. der service ist nett aber chaotisch.ich war mit freunden da die noch nie in Tübingen waren und mir war das zugegebenermassen schon etwas peinlich."

"The restaurant is located in the remains of a former catholic monastery that was "secularized" during the protestant reformation. This means that you can dine on what used to be the altar of the monastery´s chapel. While this provides already for a particular atmosphere, the...outside dining area (more like a "Biergarten" or Beergarden) has awesome views of the Ammer-valley, particularly in the late afternoon/evening. The food is the typical Swabian (South-West German) mix of "Spätzle" (Pasta) and different kinds of "Schnitzel". The quality is not exceptional but reasonably priced. Below the Biergarten is a very nice playground, so if you are visiting with children, this place is close to perfect"

"We had a wonderful experience here having our sons communion party for over people. For starters, we met with the lovely owner a month in advance to create a special menu and agenda for our sons special day. She was well prepared, attentive to...our needs and helped us to design a gathering that suited our needs and tastes! The day of the party, when we arrived the tables were set beautifully with candles lit everywhere and lovely plants on the tables. She also catered to our needs by creating a special space for our live musical guests and had an area set up with puff pastry appetizers upon arrival. Our guests were greeted with peach purée or rhubarber Prosecco drinks. There were even alcohol free versions for guests that did not want alcohol. At every seat was a special menu custom made with our sons name, date and that it was his communion followed by a list of the menu we created. We chose a fresh salad with strawberries, a choice of steak or Forelle trout fish accompanied by white asparagus and then followed by rhubarber cake or ice cream coffee and after dinner drinks. All were excellent! Throughout the party we also offered our guests two lovely Deutsch wines, a Sauvignon blanc and a rose. Both excellent! The entire party from start to finish was lovely! Lastly, the service was excellent, attentive and friendly and the ambiance filled with German charm! We would highly recommend Forelle to anyone to have their special occasion party here"

"I visited the restaurant in the evening and found it quite disappointing that the restaurant offers sushi only. I was hoping for some warm food but none is on the menu. The sushi menu book was quite worn-out and it gives a dirty feeling when...you touches it. The service was extremely slow. We had to wait for minutes before getting our drinks (and even longer later for the sushi). No one could find the light switch in the foyer of the restrooms so you search in the dark to find the restroom for the correct gender. interestingly, the restroom for handicapped is a storage room where you find the toilet together with the lockers and dirty shoes of the workers. Not sure if that violates any health regulations but it surely made one feels pretty unhygienic. The sushi tasted so-so and the seaweed wrap (Nori) in some of the sushi we ordered did not wrap the sushis completely. We were very surprised to find that. All in all, I couldn't help but find the price unjustified"

"we arrived at our booking on time and after we had to sit down practically, we had to wait one more time (just as I had checked the time when we sat down) before we got a menu at all. then we got our table menus, so we had to change. After we finally looked at the menu, I was shocked by the selection. if they were vegetarian, there were only two options that were then notified after careful selection of one of these two options from clearly overwhelmed waiter that this option was not available. that is simply not acceptable on a Saturday night. the meat options were either fish or animal interiors (living, inner, etc.). or very tasteful wildbret. I don't consider myself as a pickling esser, but I had to order the Red Bete appetizer salad as a main dish, as he had no fish and no leber. this type of menu is very restrictive. I pointed out and was pointed out by a young, inexperienced and obviously overwhelmed waiter that there is a run on the menu. when I did not choose this (actually like I had cooked the same before and was not put into account for the pleasure) asked me the waiter why - abrupt and direct. that is inappropriate in such an environment. at the wildbret a certain amount of service is expected, also suitable for the style of the restaurant. our table then waited another time for our drinks, for which we had not even enough water glasses until we asked again and again. I had to share a water course with my man! our food came to us we sat down to say unnecessary my Red Bete salad didn't last long because I was just so hungry after that. the inexperienced waiters tried more than once to bring us food for two more tables. after all, we asked to see the dessert card. then the waiter tells us that there is only one dessert option. again, for a busiest night in a restaurant such things are not acceptable. no apologies or alternatives offered by management. we ordered the cheese plate. very good cheese, not enough soned or brot, so it was at the end just a very dry, heavier cheese flavor for the evening. we were again confronted with the inexperienced personal. in Germany it is common that waiter share their bill. our waiter had a lot to do with it, so I did it at the end of my own. after checking the bill were just not on it! a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and two beer. this kind of insight is so inappropriate for a restaurant where there is the cheapest appetizer. I was hoping to bring my parents here when they were visiting next month, but I won't. that was embarrassing us, the other customers and the management. I will not return"

"Excellent food although we didn't reserve. As the restaurant was full, we were offered the possibility to have a table in the renovated Gewölbekeller which proved to be the best possible coincidence as it offers historic style which perfectly meets the dishes. Congratulations to the...very young waiter who did an excellent job. As a starter, we would especially recommend the Pfifferlinge mit Trüffelpuree which was clearly the highlight of the day. A clear glutenfree card is offered!"
